  1. I figured. They were with a group of other ones that I pegged as new
  2. Both single pontil, measuring 31/32". I was thinking they might be new, but what do I know.
  3. Could be yours on sunday: http://r.ebay.com/mVYhAA http://r.ebay.com/ZazzYl

    Cac?

I guess jabo is possible. Here are a few more pics. Hopefully they are better.
  5. You haven't thought this out at all, have you bumblebee?

    Cac?

Good to know. I have a few of the mansion run marbles, and I thought if this was new, it might have been from there.

    Cac?

It is possible that it is from the mansion runs

    Cac?

I really don't know swirls but the colors are really nice, and make me think cac. Measures 11/16".
  9. Awesome thanks for the info. I will have to go back to find the rest of the pieces. Any idea on who did make them?
  10. A wonderwoman would have to be red, blue and yellow ribbons on a white base, to match her costume. Anyone got any candidates?
  11. Anyone know what these are? I thought candle stick holders, but it only seems to balance with the opening face down. Couldn't find them in the akro book, so I have rule them out as the maker.
  12. Yep, I would call that a pelt rainbo
  13. Chuck, what you described as a superboy I have seen called a spiderman. All these superheroes are confusing, ugh.
  14. Here is a moss agate that corkscrews, 7/8"
  15. I am struggling to tell the difference. I believe it is a superboy when it's red on the yellow and superman when the ribbons are distinct for each color. However I keep seeing pictures of similar marbles labeled as both
  16. $70 in 1933 equals $1285 today. I would certainly buy 14000 akro agate marbles for that price :-)
  17. As soon as I looked I thought akro. Very nice.
  18. I would definitely take the time to sort them and spread out the sales, as you don't want to flood the market and devalue them. Also, as I have read, the master marble sunburst can be easily confused with the sparklers, so I would take the time to make sure they are more than 3 color, as the sunburst were 3 color but the sparklers were 5.

    What Is This?

I can't say for sure what this one is, but I did see a fried marble posted recently as and amber mica. The $50 price tag made me chuckle a bit
  20. I could see marble king for the fourth, but that little milky transparent patch still makes me think vitro. The yellow patch could be anyone, and I would say it would probably be tough to nail down

    What Is This?

Are you sure it's not an 1800's german christensen handmade guinea? Cause that's what the guy said, and all caps is legit.
  22. Wow after looking at all these pics, I figure I have a lot of champions.
