  1. Now the question is vitro or akro?
  2. Moss agate with ox and maybe a popeye patch?
  3. Any possibility of it being a gold foil? Is it on the surface or inside the bead?
  4. Here are a few I have pulled so far. Is that one an Indian blanket or just a 4 Color special?
  5. I'm pretty sure it is. Tough to photo the ox and blue though
  6. Still sorting through it (~750 marbles) but here are the highlights so far: 2-1/8" Divided core, 2 bricks, a possible popeye patch, a sparkler, possibly some guineas (but probably not), a ton of possible cac swirls (including one I know for sure) 100+ akro corkscrews including this one:

    This Swirl

Any idea? Has a lot of fine feathering, but doesn't look pelt at all. Is it jabo? Foreign? Measures 3/4"

    Folded . . . ?

    My first thought was carnelian
  9. I haven't had much stuff sit around for too long. Definitely buyers out there
  10. Looks like a few peltier, maybe one or two akros and a bunch of swirls. Doesn't look like anything too rare, but certainty vintage there.
  11. Could be master? One pic looks vitro, or maybe foreign as well.
  12. I was looking for pics, I guess I didn't check enough of my books :-)
  13. Does anybody know anything about this bag? The marbles look vitro to me, but I could be wrong on that.
  14. I'm eating a blizzard from dq with butter finger, caramel and cookie dough. Made my day.
  15. I agree with akro. I usually go master when the color is duller and akro for brighter
  16. Agree. I have a lot that look like they are trying to imitate blended mks. Always have two seams that look like small u's or v's
  17. This is one of 4 that I have had. Is sold two, and opened this one. It was torn already anyway. I learned about the origin of it from American machine made marbles.
  18. I am sacrificing this bag in the name of identification. These are st. Mary's alleys that were packaged by Marble King after they were purchased. That is a start, right? :-)
  19. Personally, I like the machine made over the handmades. I am partial to American made things so I do have a slight bias.
  20. It just looks like it could be either to me. Measures 1-1/32".
  21. Never seen it, at least any substantial amount anyway. I have a very short attention span and these kinds of movies could never peak my interest long enough to see the whole thing

    Is It Rude?

I know what you mean. I am always polite and write in a way that is, in my opinion, geared towards being helpful. I don't do it very often, and I don't think I've gotten any responses, so I don't really know how it has been perceived by others. I know when I point things out at antique malls that are mislabeled or fakes, they are polite, but are rarely updated by the store.
