  1. This one ?? Not my marble, one of Terry's, but the exact same color combo & just like the only one I ever had. In hand I could tell ya 100 on your OP but ??
  2. x2, agree w/ Steph on the ID's. Every company made UV marbles (glowers) a few are worth a bit of money the rest just, well "Glow" or react to uv. a good portion of Jabo marbles glow and it has no bearing on the value. If you go vintage as in Akro (Lemonade-Limeade-Cherryade, etc) some have quite a bit of $$. Glowing as Steph said, can depend on several chemical additives besides depleted uranium. Please, if you can post multiple views of each marble it would really help in a more concise ID. and value assessment.
  3. x2, leaning foreign here also
  4. x2, Looks like a big Akro cork to me
  5. Not 100, I want it to be but I'd say, no ox Brother

    Guineas

If I was selling a $400.00 marble V.S a $14.00 marble I'd definitely know the difference before I put it up for sale. "Good work Melissa" caution is always the better side of discretion 99.9% 0f the time, but sometimes you get lucky ??

There are some Christensen in this bunch, the three blue (Turquoise) base ones, I believe the rest are Alley. I also believe the "Seller" knows exactly what they have.
  8. x3, 100% NLR Pelt Cub Scout, yes the greenish looking tint is just overlap not mixing or blending.

x2, all the guineas look like contemporary torch marbles $5.00 each, if that, you're on it Melissa
  10. x2, Agree w/ Steph, I seen this one on Ebay also, Champion or Master, I'd say Champion, there is rumor the swirly type like this one might be Alley but as yet just a rumor & no provenance. It is vintage and not Jabo. The $9.99 bid on it now is about the limit of what I'd give for it, but to each their own. Chuck S. (cheese) and I were trying to nail down the manufacturer since the present ID is only an educated guess. He has a couple like this one, I have one like this and a darker one that's half av patch and the other half a very dark green base glass. The base glass is so dark it's very hard to get the av to show but half the mib is solid av, I suspect this one may be Master but who knows Either way Melissa's OP is a very beautiful marble
  11. Some dug Heaton Robins Eggs for this "Slags & Swirls Saturday"
  12. I don't think this one's a pelt, there's only one seam, If it is Pelt I've never seen one like it. Look @ the ends, like David said all the ribbons wrap clear around the marble, not Pelt IMO, I'm not sure what it is ??
  13. Only WV swirl books I know of, there are probably some listed here sand there in other ID books but no speciality books like these. Steven Bahrs vids are probably the best all around resource there is. 15. Douglas Ferguson, it's an old one, called an alien egg. He still makes similar marbles but not sure if he makes any exactly like that one ??
