  1. Some dug Heaton Robins Eggs for this "Slags & Swirls Saturday"
  2. I don't think this one's a pelt, there's only one seam, If it is Pelt I've never seen one like it. Look @ the ends, like David said all the ribbons wrap clear around the marble, not Pelt IMO, I'm not sure what it is ??
  3. Only WV swirl books I know of, there are probably some listed here sand there in other ID books but no speciality books like these. Steven Bahrs vids are probably the best all around resource there is. 4. CAC IMO :: Classic "S" or backwards "S" showing on one end
  5. Douglas Ferguson, it's an old one, called an alien egg. He still makes similar marbles but not sure if he makes any exactly like that one ?? 6. I have a three way tie, two were acquired and one was a gift, can't make up my mind, the tiger I gifted to a good marble Brother so no longer mine but still a favorite.
  7. Newer machine made, wish I could help ya out on manufacturer
  8. Two of my very best Joseph Coats for this "Thüringen Thursday" the first is my most colorful and the other w/ the most av. content, both are right around 25/32nds, maybe a hair over ?
  9. Not quite sure what to say, my condolences to his Family and the many friends he had.
  10. I think all the fruit cocktail's (salad) and similar pelts have a transparent clear base, I can't really tell if the base is trans or opaque in those pix ?? I looked again and what looks like a black appears to have some clear in it ?? I wish there were some individual pix w/ multiple views for a more concise ID ??
  11. If you were thinking of Alley Carnivals, yes, Black, red, and green are the same colors but I don't think those are carnivals or Alley, they are nice marbles and whoever outbid you I bet was banking on Carnivals not pistachios.
  12. I noticed that box yesterday while I was looking @ CW = https://www.collectorsweekly.com/art-glass/marbles/auctions have it saved to my watchlist to see the final, I've noticed a lot of Akro boxes for sale recently, let us know if ya win Art "Good Luck" Here's the link to another I look @ daily to see if anything new comes up, ebay sales but a little quicker and more complete ; LINK :: https://picclick.com/Toys-Hobbies/Marbles/?q=marbles
  13. Definitely Contemporary, not seeing Bulgarian w/ the large grind mark, not sure who made it ??
  14. x3, master (L) Vacor Serpent (R)
  15. x2, Seeing Alley here also
  16. "Welcome to Marble Connection Brian" Cane cut Handmade Germans The large one might be German as well but I'm leaning more to contemporary @ this point, the rest appear to be machine mades from several different manufacturers, Peltier, Vitro, looks like a couple Akro and @ least one slag. There are some others but can't make a positive from one single view. Just guessing but this one (from what I can see of it) appears to be a clay marble (called a Bennington ?) Some more closeup and in depth pix w/ 3 or 4 different views of each marble showing any seams if possible are needed for a concise ID. & evaluation. Size can play a large roll also, measurements in fractions of an inch are best. Others will stop by w/ more ID's for ya, condition is 99% of value, rarity taking the other 1%
