  2. x2, Seeing Alley here also
  3. "Welcome to Marble Connection Brian" Cane cut Handmade Germans The large one might be German as well but I'm leaning more to contemporary @ this point, the rest appear to be machine mades from several different manufacturers, Peltier, Vitro, looks like a couple Akro and @ least one slag. There are some others but can't make a positive from one single view. Just guessing but this one (from what I can see of it) appears to be a clay marble (called a Bennington ?) Some more closeup and in depth pix w/ 3 or 4 different views of each marble showing any seams if possible are needed for a concise ID. & evaluation. Size can play a large roll also, measurements in fractions of an inch are best. Others will stop by w/ more ID's for ya, condition is 99% of value, rarity taking the other 1%
  4. x2, not bifurcated, bifurcated is 2 different colors of base glass ( a between run marble) Peltier Bifurcated Dragon Bee (cross between a red bee and a dragon) Half Yellow base glass and half Green base glass (no av. in this one)
  5. Akro, along w/ the other early hand gathered slags almost all had a 9 pattern and weare indistinguishable from many of the other early producers, they look very similar since they were made in exactly the same manner. MFC is a little more prominent 9 pattern and the glass itself is somewhat different. I'm not a slag expert, just going by the little I know on them.
  6. Process of elimination has me leaning Akro on the 3 slags, "yes"
  7. You can start any new marble related thread you want, well, almost any go for it. We do have this thread on Vitro. LINK :: https://marbleconnection.com/topic/26195-vitro-lovers-look-here-🥰
  8. Bottom (R) swirl, the other 3 look like slags
  9. A full set of Peltier Comic Marbles for this "Peltier Tuesday"
  10. Just wondering where the term "puce" swirls came from ?? Never heard it before & can't find it anywhere ?? The link is for Joe Streets old ID site he built on for years before he passed. We keep the link here for provenance and as a remembrance of Joe, not counting the continuing accuracy of his ID's. 11. Here's my printers drawer, I went for the maximum storage look, I had to tilt it quite a bit and raise it a good ways up on the wall away from prying fingers, I've sold it since, went to curios instead ... ..... now I use gallons of glass cleaner to wash off fingerprints .....
  12. First is looking like a swirl and no clue on the second. 4 good clear shots of each marble from every view (each side) including the seams if present will help immensely in the ID process if you have a way to measure them in fractions of an inch (if possible) that can also be another helpful ID marker.
  13. Door # 1 ?? Door # 2 ?? Door # 3 ?? Door # 4 ?? Or Dorr # 5 ?? Do they all have to involve Pain .....
  14. It's an inky, inky's were production Rainbo's. Wolverines are all pee-wee @ or mostly below the .50 (1/2") mark and never went into production but were brought home by the employees. WOLVERINE
  15. "Welcome to Marble Connection Nate" x2, Seeing Alley here as well
  16. Anybody remember these Akro corks being called "Poll Parrots ??" before they were named "Lifesavers ??" Having the familiar Red, Green & Yellow colors do you think the marble was named after the Shoe Company or the Bird ?? Personally I like the Old "Poll Parrot" name better but to each their own I guess ?? This or this now this =
