  1. Bead indeed, you can see the holes on both ends Nice call Dave
  2. The two corks are Prizenames, my guess on the second mib is Pelt (PPP) IMO, and no idea on the first ??
  3. BARBERTON, NAVARRE ETC. LINKS https://oldraremarbles.com/product-category/leighton/ https://www.marblecollecting.com/marble-reference/online-marble-id-guide/transitions/ https://marbleconnection.com/topic/19354-navarre-say-navarre/ https://books.google.com/books?id=2BNjDwAAQBAJ&pg=PA234&lpg=PA234&dq=barberton,+navarre+marble+history&source=bl&ots=PkzyOVaSLZ&sig=
  4. Agree, all 3 are Akro lifesaver corks, the wonky one in the middle looks to be a double ingot. Corkscrews don't have to make a full rotation to be considered a corkscrew, whereas a patch will go straight from pole to pole. Corkscrews are identifiable by having two or more spirals going from pole to pole w/o intersecting. I don't see oxblood on the first one, just some darker trans. red IMO
  5. No Oxblood : Akro Blue eggyolk Ace, IMO : The glowing ones w/ the ace base are a bit on the HTF side.
  6. Yes, both Akro onyx corkscrews : With permission from and credit given to the MSCA (Marble Collectors Society of America LINK : https://www.marblecollecting.com/marble-reference/online-marble-id-guide/akro-agate-co/
  7. Seen the correction, nice job "Thanx" Slap that "Thin Lizzy" back on !!
  8. = Salright, we've all been there
  9. Peltier Superman IMO, when they get that big the NLR construction can get pretty wacked out. Definitely not Christensen and I'm 99% sure it's not a Vacor serpent either.
  10. Fantastic Post Steph, going through "all" the archival stuff today to see what I can find, man I gotta give credit where credits due, you've done a tremendous amount of research over the years, don't think for one second it goes unappreciated
  11. The Codeg box w/ the Veiligglas is Killer
  12. What a trip, never would've suspected any such thing existed, nice post Steph, very unusual indeed !!
  13. .............................................
  14. Correct no such marble Probably just a slip of the tongue on Dales behalf, now I don't feel like the lone Ranger.
  15. "Hello William, Welcome to Marble Connection" May years of combined marble & marble related knowledge here w/ a great bunch of folks more than willing to help you on your marble journey. If you have an individual query there is a search bar in the upper right hand side. Also an extensive bunch of pictures and archival material in Stephs Study hall & the marble related documents sections. Good to have you on board. Seeing lots of Jabo a few Vitro, some Peltier Rainbos, a slag, one brown bennington, Vacor, no Akro or Christensen that I can see ?? A pretty good assortment though. Some individual pix or just whittle down the groups to 4 or 5 for a better shot at a positive I.D. Multiple pix of each marble are good, showing any seams and or all 4 angles of the marble. Size can be a determining factor in I.D.'s also. BTW your pix are good, nice and clear Chad G.
