Making a trip today w/ a friend to a couple distant vendor malls, the mib collector deal fell through, at the last minute he decided he didn't want to sell his collection. I've heard it so many times over the years but their choice, I'm not upset I'll find another (I hope) A couple of the shop owners save stuff for me so hopefully some pay dirt, a few good weeks in the last month so if tomorrow a real bonus. A life long Friend from grade school driving today so I'm gonna have fun anyway. A day of relaxation and sharing good times w/ a good friend.

They sell the "Cod Bottles" "Stoppers" & "Trade beads" every once in a while on Ebay. A slough of nice German trade beads were sold earlier this year on Ebay. They were used for trade in Africa as well as right here in the US. Wherever ships went the beads were used. I've seen some pretty killer marbles ground made from a solid piece of cullet (not torched or remelt's) Not much to go around as even the price of many of the nicer flame type cullet pieces has been fetching a very decent price. I'll see if I can find pix of a few to share. (notta) A very nice piece of cullet, 1.75 x 1.75 x 1.75 almost perfect sized to make a cullet marble from, or great just the way it is, pieces of cullet like this are VVHTF & getting up there in $$. I've sold, traded and gifted all my Christensen away except for 2 mibs. A Pelt Head at heart so you know where the money went & what I traded for, a few Alley's snuck their way in there too Guess I better post a few pix, not mine, a few pix of a nice clean submarine a friend of mine Terry sold a few years back. Not my pics or mibs but from what I understand these are very rare along w/ the red devils, layered sand, submarines, etc ... Not sure but I believe I got these from a post on CAC's from AAM ??

"Happy Akro Friday" A great score yesterday, a full set of Akroware, appears to be in very, very good shape for the age. Box # 112 pieces match the set w/ only a partial fold on one side. Plus they threw in an octagonal sugar bowl I needed. White & yellow cups are uv. 2nd week in a row, I'm a very happy camper @ .29¢ probably the original pencil mark & price from the store ??

It does resemble a "Green Raven" Steph ?? I think what he's seeing in the vid as av is a myriad of tiny fractures, I could see clear glints when he rolled the mib, I hope it is av. just an observation. Like he said, has to get the mib home and cleaned up. Well cleaned up but no mention of the av after he has it in the case w/ the Alley and Mk's, just calls it a "nice swirl" ??

Know what ya mean Bill, my choppin wood for the Winter days are over too, got electric heat now, as soon as I turn off the heat it starts gettin cold. Not at all like good old wood heat, man I miss it !!! ....... $$$$$$$$$$$ .... Time to hide .... ...... I'm invisible, Right ??
