"I" see Master

Hmm, 41 marbles at .60 cents each is only $24.60. 41 marbles at $5.75 each = $235.75. Don't worry Rick, I had to use the calculator to figure it out, me bean aint what it used to be !! Been collecting since the mid 80's and never seen the price of marbles go this high this quick. There was a short period in the 90's where there was an extreme high followed by an extreme low. Now that somewhat of a base has been found and thanks to Ebay an actual number of marbles of any certain kind is known, the prices have been pretty steady. Seems a big buy up has happened ?? due to C19 I guess ?? driving the prices for many ever higher. Plus the fact there are a new generation of collectors coming into play and collectors tend to hang onto what they have. There are a lot of factors that drive the market. "I" guess just like anything else the law of supply & demand will dictate the price. Just "my" point of view !!

x 3, one slag (the biggest one) & the other smaller 4 look to be swirls, the swirls look like an assortment of W, Va. manufacturers, not sure who ?? Maybe w/ a couple different views of the slag & the swirls I.D. will be possible ??

Does this Peltier have a collector's nickname?
Chad G. replied to rockgardenplants's topic in Marble I.D.'s
The lazy s seam and the other are right but somethings a little off, it almost looks like a "Veneered" marble ?? I don't think it's pelt "myself" -
Good move putting them all in individual bags David, they'll stay nice and pristine, no box rolling to scratch them up

Vacor Serpent, agree with Art 100%, I looked at it as soon as they listed it.

Cheese Head for sure--show your teams colors!
Chad G. replied to akroorka's topic in General Marble & Glass Chat
Opaque orange base swirl patter "Peltier NLR Tiger" with very fine silver av. in the black ribbons., shows up much better in the sunlight. But no, very opaque, no light will pass through, the orange base glass swirls as well as the black ribbons. I traded Sami Pelt for Pelt at the Seattle Show in 2017, I got a few others as did he, my avatar can be found on page 72, lower right hand corner of the new Pelt book by Sami Arim, Mike Johnson & Gino Biffany "Peltier Marbles an American Legend" "Two Color National Line Rainbos" Even shows the same view except it's turned on it's side in the book. -
