The wooden one I have is the same story. I can imagine after I put a mirror behind it, dust, webs, whatever & you really have to work at it to get it out. Blowing doesn't work, just makes it worse most of the time but I love the display. It looks so good full of mibs, maybe e I'll try some kind of small uv lighting tape for added "Bling" I guess is how you'd say it. I just noticed, besides the thick rubber o rings I use I also use polymer stands just like yours !!

Is that one UV. reactive or is the light just reflecting off the base color giving the illusion of a slight UV. reaction ?? Glowing is when exposed to regular light it "remains glowing" after the light is removed, UV. reactive means it appears to glow only when exposed to UV. A sticking point I know but there are newer marbles that "glow" and some that are UV light reactive. Sorry, no ideas on I.D. on this one ?? Here are a few pics of a good reaction to UV. Regular daylight bulb Same marbles under a blacklight tube A UV. reactive based glass marble will generally light up like the sun when exposed, appearing to almost be putting off it's own light. The same mib in hand

Yes !! Have seen green bricks w/ just a tint of green, transparent green base or opaque green, Here's a sale of a partially tramsparent Killer from a recent Ebay sale, Note the "cut line". I believe yours to still be MF Brad, maybe someone will chime in for a bit more info on this subject ?? Another highly transparent one sold by Zaboo a couple years ago, demonstrating the highly variable bases in green bricks, evidently just a little tint is enough to call it a green brick. Another older transparent base brick sale from Ebay Though a "cutline" is present I believe they're still considered to be made by MF, weather white, green, black, or just a regular ox brick (excluding Akro)

Bibi vs. punkin = Godzilla vs the ant !! I was watching punkin play, or was he watching me ?? It doesn't look like much get's past him, he's pretty crafty. His little mind seems to be just a hummin, he watches everything like a hawk !! I couldn't help it, I found it so had to post it !! Well, I guess I didn't "Have to" "Now I know an ant can" move a rubber tree plant !!

If I ever get around to it I'm gonna try and build a couple wall mount shadow box displays like that. I have the shadowboxes just have to replace the backing. easier said than done I guess, they where a lot better constructed than I first thought. But I'll get er done (someday ??)

Yes my hometown of Rainier is only 6 miles away across the state line (Columbia river) also small 2300 people now and 1800 0ver 50 years ago so hasn't changed much, the local creek (fox creek) also floods our town every couple years. With Longview & a couple other towns in the close vicinity we have a 3 day draw of over 50,000 people all together, fireworks night is the biggest w/ right around 15 to 18,000. kinda ridiculous, it takes two hours to get your car out of town afterwards because of all the cars. A great time anyway, something I remember as a kid the fresh beer sausages made from Elk meat cooking on an open grill, Mmm, Mm !! not made from Elk meat anymore but still Deeeliciouse !!

RAINIER DAYS IN THE PARK, ALONG THE MIGHTY COLUMBIA RIVER derp !! What started out in the early 1900's as a beer run race from tavern to tavern drinking a pitcher of beer at each stop has evolved into a family oriented festival, along with a fair rides and fireworks launched off a barge in the middle of the river there are vendors galore, food and of course a beer garden and live music, logging show w/ pole climbing and "hot saw" competition. All I could find I have left from the old "Rainier Daze" when I was a kid was this button, I'll post a link showing this years festivities. Original Rainier "Daze" button from 1962 Now renamed "Rainier Days in the Park" and no longer a race to get plastered. LINK : https://www.rainierdaysinthepark.com/ Facebook, fireworks show etc.. : https://www.facebook.com/RainierDaysinThepark/ LINK : https://www.myfamilyguide.com/events/united-states/oregon/rainier/festivals/rainier-days-in-the-park-city-of-rainier/ City LINK : https://www.cityofrainier.com/ The Columbia river where the fireworks are launched from the barge is just out of sight along the bottom of this pic.

A obscure Akro w/ a little tracer line of oxblood running down one side and very fine scattered silver & black av. probably a relative of the Royal considering the structure and presence of inferior black av. , one of my favorites though !!
