  1. Correct all "Ade" (Limeade, Cherryade, Lemonade etc...) marbles are U.V. reactive. Your OP is a Carnelian Oxblood IMO, appears to be a cork to boot, very nice mib, on the HTF side. Yes, the last one is a cork, looks like a so called "snake" type.
  2. There are two older antique stores I know of in the local area that have vintage marbles mixed into and laid on top of their concrete sidewalks. Yes a good idea but you can see where several were pried out of there encasement, someone really wanted the marbles that were there. Too bad, other than the holes the sidewalks are beautiful, I'll get a pic if I remember ? I know they're still there, it wasn't that long ago. Kalama Washington was one of them (The best & biggest one) gonna have to get the old ticker a goin to remember where the other one is ??
  3. "Welcome to Marble Connection Olddude" Nice bunch of Vintage mibs, the aggies are my favorites but I like em all Again, "Welcome"

  6. Aloha Bra !!!! Some nice cool tropical mibs for the collection.
  7. "Welcome to Marble Connection Jack" Akro, Peltier, Alley etc.. I see a bit of many vintage manufacturers. Individual pics w/ multiple views (3-4) marbles per post, will help immensely. It may be slower but you will get a much more accurate grade & manufacture I.D. again, "Welcome"

  16. OP is 100% Josephs Coat, good call Art, Onionskins all have an underlying "skin" covering the entire surface underneath the stretched out ribbons of color. Usually white or yellow, thus the word onion "skin". There are of course exceptions to every rule and everything in between. Examples of onionskins Joseph Coats :
