    Pelt?

Oh boy, it's early....wrong marble! Sorry! Allow me too post the correct one! But I will still accept ID confirmation on this one ๐Ÿ˜‚

    Pelt?

Hopefully these are better images....and size is 0.86. I can see where one would think Master also, I kind of thought Pelt because I have one similar that was identified as such a while back. Only this one has the white where the other one has just the wispy brown. Hope this helps!
  3. At least one of my Sucker's was about 1.8 pounds, the biggest one caught there so far is 2.6. Close! The only river rookie out the bunch was Dave, my brother in law holding up the Black Bass. There were already around 20 people out there when we sailed up about 7:15, so I let Dave have the last stall facing the river. I took the shallow side, hurting my chances of snagging big ones a little bit, but that's ok! Wanted him too take it all in!

    Pelt?

I'll do that, Steph, plus the size would also help ๐Ÿคช
  5. Just a small portion of what was caught by my group today. I Only caught 3 Sucker's, also known as a Redhorse (a variety of carp). Tons of Sturgeon and Walleye today, along with White, Black and Smallmouth Bass, Sauger, Sheepshead, and Big Flathead Catfish. Great day all around! A couple of the best moments was seeing a fox family along the shore really close early this morning playing on some big, rotted tree stumps; and seeing that young man in the picture sitting with his very first Big one!

    Pelt?

I think maybe so, but not 100%
  7. Haven't seen a cat quite like this with it's color combo, but I definitely see high iron content in it's diet ๐Ÿ˜‚
  8. I also noticed, from what I saw, that he seems too sign his work with a "DB" followed by the year and piece #? Believe me, I don't really know much at all about contemporary, just taking a stab at it ๐Ÿ˜Š
  9. Been kind of a dry spell out there in the wild but finally came across a jar that I was more than happy to purchase. Besides the usual variety of cats eyes, a Nice little mix of makers ๐Ÿ˜Š
  10. I almost had the "older gentleman" luck a couple weeks ago....a coworker in maintenance said his father had a ton of old marbles that he kept in old bank bags in the attic and that he would check into it for me. 2 days later, he informed me that his uncle had bought them ๐Ÿ˜ Oh well, but great score for ya! ๐Ÿ‘
  11. It's like an alien sighting "they are still out there" ๐Ÿ‘ฝ fine score indeed!
  12. I should say that I was dealing with a micro-thin veil of rust ๐Ÿ˜Š
  13. I tried using the scotch brite side of this dishwashing sponge with Dawn or Mr. Clean and had decent results. About as "abrasive" as I dared get.
  14. Cool! Makes me remember back when I was a kid, maybe 18 or so, and I got hired on with a concrete contractor too work during the construction of the King's Bay Naval Submarine Base in King's Bay, Georgia. I'll never forget it ๐Ÿ˜Š
  15. Steph, that just sucks. Sorry to hear about this sad event.
  16. HAHAHA, Off too the stockade with ya, you scurvy sea dog! Davey Jones is waiting for ya!
  17. You sure that's Ox? Or the Serpent's blood after the kiss of your Cutlass?
  18. No worries! Raise your scaley heads if you dare and you will taste my steel!
  19. I believe that you are correct on Pelt ๐Ÿ˜Š
  20. Nice group! Can't wait for others to take a peek but I think your right on with Pelt except for maybe the the 3rd pic? The white base with orange and red, I have an Akro shooter pretty much just like that but with alot less color...I like them though!
  21. I've got 8 locations within 50 miles of my home that I try to frequent at least once a month but for the most part it's the same mibs I have passed on still sitting there. At least 2 of these places have above average turnover as far as vendors restocking but it's still hit and miss when "new" stuff is found. I do have a good lead on a number of Akroware pieces, hopefully have them soon once I barter with the vendor. I Also know where a huge pile of mibs are but the shop owner won't sell. He displays them in two 1 gallon glass jars and a 2 foot tall giant glass fish for customers too "enjoy". Plus behind his counter is this old chest of drawers full of bags and Mason jars of mibs. He has literally 1,000's and judging from a good number of the ones I could see, nice ones. But he won't budge. It's what I would call my best score ever. Too be continued on that one. Pretty soon here I plan on going outside my box and hitting a few places I found with great potential, meaning that because of the size of these places. But other than a few pieces of Akroware and a slag piece or two, a big fat "0" for mibs in the past month and a half. Time to raise the anchor and hoist the mainsail, mates! Undiscovered country lies ahead!
  22. Congratulations indeed! What a wonderful day for your families! Happy Hunting in Norfolk, hope too see you in the "Score" thread ๐Ÿ˜Š
  23. Not at home so I can't contribute anything today but Happy Akro Friday everyone...great posts ๐Ÿ‘
