It was marked "Akro Agate " on the tag in the display case I found it in but wasn't absolutely sure with it only having the markings shown and not actually stamped with the name. Didn't have enough on me but there is a mate for it at that place. With the positive ID, I will be picking it up today.

Picked up this nice little hunk a couple days ago. Someone had used it at one time for a pen holder. It just graduated too marble support ð

Welcome, Raisin...you are now a member of what I consider relaxed, fun, and VERY knowledgeable group of collectors....I just joined at the end of March and love the experience. By the way, nice green shoe in the picture; my lady collects ð

Got started a little bit on my new cabinet today ðĨģ ....going too do some rummaging around the house and garage for possible additions. And of course add the occasional marble find!

Rainbo was a thought, just so many. Had too be sure.

I have a handful of these also and at first glance through the jar thought they were clearies. Interesting. With and without flash.

A small group of this particular marble was with a mix I picked up yesterday. The base glass varys from green, blue and an Auburn.

I've been learning that there are so many variations of this variety of marble but would like to know about the grey base glass. Thanks for the input! Added a single shot of each marble, 2 of them are 0.62 and the other 2 are about 0.60.

Pretty excited...picked up the octagon yesterday and picking up the other tomorrow! Going to set up mine today.

That is a cool blend of colors! I'm curious about the ID too...

I believe it's quartz, shaped and polished. You'll have to look up the melting stone info. I think it will fit in nicely with the marbles even though it technically isn't one ð

Thought this was interesting, picked up this melting stone yesterday. Really cool how it captures the process. I think it's a clearie that Steph will admire ð

My fiance won them along with a picture for $10....just a random mix in a leather bag. Just going after the picture these came with it.

Got these with a few others at a benefit auction a couple years ago. Forgot about them totally until last night. 3 pics of each. Thanks a bunch!

Same here! I passed up a vintage Marble King bag full of cats eyes. This was in Lacrosse Saturday. The vendor wanted too much for it I thought but I did come away with the group I posted earlier today and a small jar of what I think are modern marbles, possibly Jabo or Vacor (post them at a later date) Yeah, those "jars or bags of fun " are cool. I find one in Harmony occasionally. Remember that Citrus marble from a couple weeks ago? It was in one. Along with other marbles, plastic vintage army men, a set of vintage Jack's with the original rubber ball, and a mini plastic pinball game. Fun!

I didn't even think Vitro on the second one, assuming rainbow there too...tricky little guys ðĪŠ

The colors threw me off, especially since there are many variations of rainbows. Wasn't sure, thanks!
