Here are some different shots. This marble is a little tricky, the "line" inside is pretty straight and from what I can see in hand, doesn't go through the vein, rather around it. The surface isn't fractured anywhere that I can see. In one shot you can see little bubbles running along the top of the vein. There are tiny fractures inside but all are attached to the vein, none of them near the surface. The only marks on the surface are the cut marks. The vein gives the look of something as if it were breaking the surface of water. It's a crazy marble but cool at the same time.

Thanks for taking a jab at Ron. There was another one that had Cuba and its flag on it but passed because of a huge chip in it. I'll keep looking 👍

No fractures, appears too be air.

Awesome piece and great information!

The glass leans more towards the yellowish side of green rather than the usual greens I have seen. More than likely a bubble split the veins when made, but thought I would post here for any input being an uncommon oddity?

Full of little tiny bubbles, the last pic shows a little "crease" (dead center of marble) otherwise don't see any other marks on it. Wondering about it's origin if possible. Thanks!

Love it. Everyone I would think has had a connection of some kind cars or motorsports during their life. One fond memory of mine was back in the 80's in Florida when I was in my early twenties. My brother in law owned a 69' Malibu, metallic blue/black leather interior. That thing had some horsepower! He took me for a ride one day shortly after he acquired it. Little did I know what I was in for! He took me out to a 5 mile stretch outside Jacksonville called Pritchard road, where alot of the locals would race their rides for cash. Nobody was there that day, he made sure of that. As we sat there idling, he looked at me and said "Ready?" Before I could answer he hit the gas and we were gone! We hit 60mph in just a few seconds then surprise! He quickly flips open a little box and hits a green button. Nitrous! Oh boy did that Malibu turn into a rocket! Rocking back and forth, my body literally stuck to that seat like I was on the Graviton at the fair. I think we hit almost 200mph! Never forget it. I have loved Malibu's ever since 😋 I finally bought one about 6 years ago, a 2008 model fully loaded. Sadly it was rear ended 3 years ago, totaled. I will get another one one day! My other favorite car would be the 68' or 69' Chevelle SS. Thanks for sharing your cars! Thought I would return that share with a memory! 😊

Just for clarification purposes, the Redwing products I mentioned were originally based in Redwing, Minnesota; but Winona was a known sales outlet for them. The building above actually housed at one time the popular Redwing pottery.

Funday Friday it was! Went here....had to take 2 pics too get the building because I ran out of parking lot too back up on! 3 stories of fun treasure hunting 🥳 The last pic is of the rock they call "Sugar Loaf", which overlooks Winona, Minnesota. Lots of Indian heritage around those parts. It's said that people still find tons of artifacts throughout the hills in and around Winona. Interesting history about this town if anyone decides to read up on it. Also known for its Redwing pottery, Redwing boots and being the homebase for Wincraft (the company responsible for making tons of collectible sports memorabilia for major events like the Super bowl, World series, etc.) Check it out!

Rifleman, Bonanza, Alfred Hitchcock, Hogans Heroes, the list goes on and on. Always bouncing between MeTV and various Roku channels 😊

This isn't helping matters at all...figured I would turn on the TV and fall asleep to something. Chose "Leave it to Beaver" guess What they are doing up in their room? Playing with marbles!!!!

I seem too have acquired these same symptoms....driving and spotting an old barn and thinking what might be inside, walking past them in my house stopping to look, first name basis at several stores, stashing here and there, even wondering what they are "doing" when I am at work. Wondering though, does waking up at 3am with your mind racing (what I am experiencing now) qualify as a symptom? 🤒🤧 Oooooh Noooo! I think I have been exposed 😳 I should have never touched that $7 plastic tub of marbles back in December. Now look what's happened. Being consumed by the wants associated with this ailment and now I have cast myself into this motley crew of individuals. Something deep inside inside me though is telling me that everything, one day, will be ok. Glad I got that off my chest. Thanks for starting this column, such fun! 🤣

More nice pieces! Hopefully I'm lucky on my hunting tommorow 😊

Really, really great information, Ron! My fiance loves collecting vintage miniature tea/dish sets AND the miniature glass animals. I just read this whole article too her and showed her your pictures. Super excited too go hunting! Already sounds like Funday Friday begins in Winona then down to Lacrosse. We usually branch off in different directions when treasure hunting so I'll have to write down the above names for her 😊 Rare indeed but one never knows! Thanks again for an outstanding post!

Yeah, Chad; lots of posts and alot of them recently are my fault! 😝

She's nowhere near finished with hers either. As seen, she started picking up miniature porcelain and glass animals also, mostly vintage also. Funny how some of my rocks ended up in here!?!? 🤔

Yeah, still can't believe I got that one and the other one for only $20 apiece! My gal collects vintage miniature tea sets along with shoes and hands and is slowly placing her favorite pieces in hers.
