  1. I didn't even think Vitro on the second one, assuming rainbow there too...tricky little guys ðŸĪŠ
  2. The colors threw me off, especially since there are many variations of rainbows. Wasn't sure, thanks!
  3. These are pics of the antique mall itself....fun fun! 😁
  4. Here are some of the items this particular vendor has to offer. His displays at other locations are bigger than this one. The Meg tooth I want isn't in this one 😭
  5. I did decide on one item...
  6. Went over to check out my cabinets I purchased and see if there was anything of interest that I might want....
  7. Forgot all about this one...had a bunch of rock in a small hillside that that I own in between my driveway and the neighbor's property. Removed all the rock last year and seeded but made some discoveries during the rock removal. I found some cool fossils of what turned out to be plant life from millions of years ago along with a few snail fossils and the best one...what appears too be the vertebrae of what is so far an unknown reptile or fish. The vendor I connected with wants to check it out.
  8. And by the way, you do have quite a few that I wish I could find 👍
  9. Hang in there, Mojo...I too am new to the marble world, lots of us here are. I have only been occasionally picking up marbles for a few months and only joined here a few weeks ago to learn what I have and what too shoot for. I by no means have anything spectacular, maybe a few that are considered very nice. It's going to take you and I and others that want to collect marbles quite some time too become what you would call "good" at recognizing what we have individually with our marbles. Listen and learn, like we do from Ron, Steph, Chad, Ric, Bruce and others that have knowledge on this hobby. Their experience can only help us get better. Also, I think there is value in almost any marble, whether it's vintage, modern, etc. With you, you apparently have a skill in creating jewelry. Pursue that with marbles that you KNOW are and can be used for this. There's your side profit. And keep the ones you find out that are collectible (rarities, ones worth money, etc.) Either way, stay with it, keep asking for help identifying, opinions on purchases, whatever, just have fun and don't get overwhelmed or frustrated 😊
  10. I'll put up some more pics soon, I'll get some from the vendor that carries the teeth. He also has on display for sale agates, gemstones, fossils, insects and more. We got to meet this fellow last week in Winona, Minnesota while he was stocking one of his displays there. Boy, does he know his stuff! He even has this worldly, explorer look...sounds well versed in everything nature and history! Very educational 20 minute conversation with him! Not only does he travel too collect his artifacts and specimens, he also does the work involved with his products. Cutting, polishing, mounting, etc. I was fascinated with his knowledge. My fiance used too live not particularly far from you before moving to Minnesota in 2008, she resided in Redding, California. I better head outside, have too prep our garden spaces then it's off too antique mall down the road. I got extremely lucky Friday as one of the vendors was packing up her space and was selling her lighted glass display cases. Bought 2 of them for $20 bucks each! They are huge! Pretty excited, have too dismantle them today and bring them home. Ones for me and ones for her. She collects shoes, vintage glass, porcelain, etc,; and vintage jewelry. Fun, Fun!
  11. I don't have to many of these and wasn't thinking at first they were the collectible variety but one can never assume! 3 pics each of 3 different marbles.
  12. Here are 3 pics of 3 different groups of marbles, acquired them together in a bag yesterday. Most I think I can sort going by past identification but there are a few I have questions about. I'll post 2 of these here showing 4 pics of each individual marble.
  13. While there I wanted to spend over our budget and she goes "No,no,no; not Today!"
  14. And your welcome for the pics! More too come surely....went here today and found a few bags of marbles, I'll have to post some for ID in the coming days. Really cool stuff at this place. Located in Onalaska, Wisconsin.
  15. Got my eyes on a Meg tooth now, there's a few but one that I want is almost $100. 7in. And extremely well preserved.

    Akro?

Pretty purple, decided too take the pictures outside so it shows up nicely...
  17. These are similar but with a different color...same "family" I am assuming? The 3 blue and orange are 0.93, 0.96, and 1.01 respectively....the single green and orange is 0.96...
  18. Found this in river rock landscaping, a tooth I believe?
  19. Couple cool pieces I just picked up
  20. The size has me wondering though...the smallest is 0.93, the biggest is 1.01! The others are all in between that, not one equal in size.
  21. Thoughts? Good morning and Thank you all 😊
