  1. I am not seeing Jabo here. Consider Vitro--just mho. Marble--On!!
  2. Very nice Akros imho ( killer oxblood patches) and you may be right--the right hand one may be a cats eye from Master Glass Co. Nice call Ric!! Marble--On!!

Folded is kind of an antique term--lol. ( like me) Nice catch Chad. Marble--On!!
  4. "Orange Brick" was the best description that I could come up with regarding this one. I did do a bunch of research (a lot) and never did come up with a better name. I truly appreciate anything that you have to say about this one and look forward to any images of yours that you may have. I will send a PM regarding this one. I need this one to be verified by an expert such as you. It is my intention to put the best with the best in a display involving this envelope. Thanks and Marble—On!!
  5. You may be right Mojo. Good call!! Marble--On!!

This looks like a “folded” Pontil to me. Just the cut off mark folded back into the rounded part by whatever method was used in the rounding process. Marble—On!!
  7. It sure looks like it could be a Vitro doesn't it. The cutoff/shear marks are Akro, there are even a few little eye lashes involved with the fingernail cutoff mark. I would sort this one as an Akro patch type ("tricolor"). All opinions are welcomed and appreciated. Cool Marble! Marble--On!!

I could not find a lot on Grenier marbles but what I did find usually mentioned a ground or faceted pontil opposite the nine. Marble—On Mojo!!
  9. Hello to you and welcome AvvaRae. Chad has these pegged pretty well👍. Marble--On!!
  10. Nope, The small ones in the images are 25mm, or around one inch. These were the size sold in nets at ToyRus. The two biggers sizes were special order only. 45mm and 50MM ( mighty rare on both larger sizes). All sizes are +- a few mm because they were handgathered. Marble--On!!

    Bogard?

Soooooo--this is a cats eye? The bubbles are throwing me off a bit. Nice one! Marble--On!!
  12. This is my best Ric--as you can see--a few came with "lutz" Marble--On!!
  13. I have plenty Al--whenever you get to it is fine with me. Marble--On!!
  14. Very nice--great job Stephen!!! Marble--On!! or should I say Mármol - ¡¡Encendido!!.
  15. Nice group! Good luck with the dusting. Marble--On!!
  16. Perhaps @hdesousa will chime in and give some input with these? Marble--On!!
  17. We are all still learning and this one has had plenty of input from a bunch of great marble folks. Thanks all!! This may just be "one of those" that defies a description or an ID. Thanks for posting it—this is what we all love. I just love this stuff!! I agree with Steph closer to a patch than a swirl. Marble—On!! This may help davesnothere--- Marble--On!!
  18. They are a hard find Al, The #5 boxes were found in some NOS--boxes of them, flat and not filled. Then they were reproduced by someone which were very convincing. The #10s are especially hard to find in any condition worth keeping--or restoring. I could have paid this much for a restoration type box ten years ago—without the marbles—sometimes a person just gets lucky. How many marbles are in your box Al??? Marble—On!!
  19. I am right there with you Ric. That large Heaton box is more than likely the very rarest marble box in existence. Any Heaton packaging is rare to find. This is what drives me—the rare stuff. Marble—On!!
  20. Here we go indeed Tommy. Ya just never know until you find a box or a bag--for sure. Marble--On!!
