Just a “Clearie”? Try UV light and be Rewarded. At Just a hair over 7/8” This is a “Clearie” (Clear as in no color with just a hint of yellow UV reaction possible in hand---no yellow reaction here—just a gut check)—it is slightly out of round and it is an Akro imho—probably from a dig. Yes, this is the same marble—both sets. This is why the new generation of collectors loves a good black-light marble (or some of the older collectors as well—I sure do!) UV light reveals a lot—cut me some slack on the blue reflections; they are from the UV light which was deployed. The orange is the thing---just killer—under UV it looks solid and opaque. The camera flash reveals some brown in this “Clearie” which is just crystal clear in hand. I tried my best—no sunlight today—go figure. “Backlight them all” and hit them all with UV light as well. They may not be worth a terrible lot but once you find them they are priceless. They all deserve a good look! We all love this stuff—I sure do!! Marble—On!!

The Jabo “Production runs “ in this bigger size did produce some very "pretty" marbles. Sadly they did not hold up well in the packaging process and most of them ended up with little white “Hit-Marks” because of the softness of the glass. These bigger “Production run Jabo” were some of the best big production marbles ever made—they just could not take much abuse. To find a mint one is a rare thing--- I just love this stuff!! I appreciate all opinions and welcome them all. Marble—On!!

Yes cats are a weak point for me--the furry ones. I am cat-less right now--we always had one or two--there are a few strays around that I might convince to be a friend. Marble--On!!

This one could be a "Factory run marble" Fire--just mho. (Jabo Classic")??? Marble--On!!

Peewee marbles can be a hard ID. They let a lot more light through them than their 5/8" cousins. Have you considered Peltier here? Marble—On!!

Cateyes are like--Cats--the furry ones. Some are ugly to some, many are pretty to some. I prefer the ugly furry ones, a good messed up "Calico" is hard to beat in my eyes. It is all in the eye of the beholder. I love a good Master Cats-eye---marble--hard to find, but worth the search--still pretty ugly though. Marble--On!!

You have some nice marbles there and some great images as well. I agree with all that has been said. These "Popeye Patches" are always thought of as being a great find during an Akro dig at the Akro Plant grounds--many years ago. These "Popeye Patches" are the most common by far--the blue and yellow ones. "Popeye Patches" do show up in different color combos--much more rare though. These are more than likely a find from a dig--but they look very nice imho. I just luve-em-- Marble--On!!

I agree with all above--the Akro is nice--good eye!! ( I might just call it a semi-auger) That Pelt is not an easy ID--nice one though. Marble--On!!

That is funny Fire. One of the best pets that I ever had was a Piranha. He would interact with an old mutt that I had. I actually think that they liked each other, I should have had him mounted. He lived about 13 years. Marble--On!!

I found this one today and I suck @WVS ID--this is as close as I could get. 5/8" and a slight opal to the base glass--hard to see with all of the purple-I looked close though and opal is present imho. When I find purple or pink--I set it aside for further review. Marble--On!!!

This is a repost--- This is MK Monday so what better time?? I almost posted these under MK Monday---I am not quite so sure though????? They sure look like Pelts. I was sorting today and came across a bunch of these. Peltier or Marble King is my question. I have never seen this type of marble before---ever. I just love this stuff!!----I am thinking some weird and cool MK--- Marble—On!! I wonder who ID'd these for me. Marble--On!!
