  1. This one is a Pelt Rainbo--not a "Muddie". Muddies no not react to UV light. Muddies have a green-ish opaque swirl to them. The base glass of a "Muddie" is opal and though they appear to be opaque—they are not. I love me a good "Muddie"--just love them!! I get-em whem I can--I just love them. Has anyone ever heard of a Moldy??(Spelling may-be incorrect) I just like the name--European I believe. Marble—On!!

  8. Well the first image did it for me. At first I thought that it may be a MK “Painted Turtle”---not! The first image shows some classic “feathering” that may go unnoticed in many Pelts unless you backlight them. This is a Pelt trait through and through—I have never seen it in any other maker. We are used to seeing this in the Pelt slag’s because of the white that displays it so well—look deeper into your Pelts and be amazed!! You may find this, it is not too common but it is there sometimes. Even in the transparent glass. This one is a Pelt MCR—no more—no less—imho. Nice images! Nice marble! Backlight them all!!! Marble—On!!
  9. I will admit that I had to start a new folder on the PC. I just am not into contemporary marbles that much. There is always an exception to the rule though. I never met Nadine MacDonald in person—just online back during “Nan’s Board”. (I hope that the spelling is right, both ways) This will be my favorite contemporary forever—she was the pinnacle of”just being a nice person” that collected marbles. She shared all of her knowledge freely and never with any contempt for those who challenged her. She was a “Marble Jedi” for sure. (She did know her Pelts very well) She also made some hand painted and glazed marbles that should be cherished by all. This one is one inch and I feel blessed just to have it. I will always keep this one, close to my heart and always on display--always. I have a few marbles from Ron—same thing---for sure!!! Marble—On Nadine!! Marble—On Ron!!!
  10. No books by him that I know of--just a contributer to many. Check the images and the credits to them in many books. Marble--On!!

  19. Planet Earth has lost its “Jedi Marble Master”. Fifty normal humans could not fill his shoes. What sad news indeed. I send my Condolences to all that knew and loved him personally. I feel that the line through the “Pearly Gates” was held up a bit when St. Peter asked him about some Ravenswood marbles that he had collected. It may still be backed up!! Marble—On!! ( I know that Ron would agree, so do you all) I will miss you Ron.
  20. Nice Corkscrew! Marble--On!!
  21. I agree. Imperials were marketed on the west coast. They came from a variety of asian countries. Just do a simple search for them on ebay and read the fine print on the headers. Marble--On!!
