  1. Nice marble!---nope! Marble--On!!
  2. I feel tested here--I am up for it!! English--Dazzler! Nice one!! Marble--On!!
  3. I looked hard at these-really Hard! The top left is a MFC imho. The lower left--it may be a CAC--the white looks very bright to me for an Akro--- I appreciate all opinions and look forward to them. Marble--On!
  4. OK--size does matter--Good job! Alley Agate is my ID-- I do suck at WVS ID however. All opinions are needed--for sure! Marble--On!!
  5. Many--too many folks just do not get it---- That is why we are here----amongst the ones that do "get it". I just love the stuff!! Marble--On!!
  6. Great stuff Fire--I did bid on Tiffany glass--once-😁. Maybe twice—. I am not trying to distract from your post just add to it. There was a lamp dude quite close to us that actually let us touch his ware. Green Lake Wisconsin—what a great seller and collector he was. He almost acted like they were “common”. I will compare him to @wvrons—with marbles. Selfless—a great collector that is willing to pass information on to the masses. I only wish that there were more of his caliper. He knew that we were not buyers (you can tell) from the start but still gave all of our questions a great answer with a very nice bit of information and insight. I love looking back at the older collectors and sellers—before the internet--- I have wanted one of these for years-A Houze glass cullet marble--they are pretty pricey but they challenge any Akro Agate for "The Glow" ----my wife and I also collected Houze Glass in the past years—never really knowing what it was—we just liked it—it glowed—even under low light in an Antique store. This one is 1-1/8”—with a flaw—“you can only see one side of any marble” Marble—On!!
  7. My wife and I collected “Akro-Ware” before we even knew what it was. We went to Auctions, Antique stores, Rummage sales, Second hand shops—on and on. “Akro-Ware” pretty much replaced anything that we had collected before. It had to be cheap—we were raising three kids and the cash was tight. It was always cheap entertainment for us all. I remember my wife pulling at my sleeve many times during an Auction—slow down—too much!!! Then one day at an antique mall I found the “Hardy’s” first book—what? They made marbles too? I have been off and running ever since, the wife stuck with the Akro Ware—I went after the little guys—they take up way less space. Now I am a Great-Grandpa x2—I still have the “Fire”. I still break into a sweat if I find an Akro Marble—any Akro Marble—I just luv em. Honey—I found an Akro!!! Marble—On!!
  8. You caught my drift Steph--buyers beware- This is a very good repo and there are many more out there--excellant place holder though. Read before you bid--I give this seller credit for the description. The pouches are harder to find than the boxes are. Marble--On!!
  9. At this point in my life, I just hate having anything in my pockets. I used to carry this one for some time--it was like a little "Blankie"--. Marble--On!!
  10. I have never seen one--but??? Marble--On!!
  11. Nice Akro Joe2. Marble--On!!
  12. Thanks Steph--great stuff. If you pay any attention to pouches like I do you would appreciate the fact that a few that you show in your images are really--really rare. The box that shows Wimpy and Swee' Pea—is rare as heck. These may have held some oxbloods or others. I have a vision of sparklers included in a Popeye box—maybe just a dream—a nice one! Thanks and--- Marble—On!!
  13. Mine too. Marble--On!!
  14. Very weird--Very! Marble--On!!
  15. I just wish that I could feel it but I agree. Marble--On!!
  16. I will be Married for 45 years later this year. I think that these have me beat. Very cool! Marble--On!!
  17. I jumped on these thinking that the patch was a Peewee and the rest were 11/16”. No size was given and I have seen plenty of these—the price was right after I gave an offer. I am not a “big money” buyer but for just over six dollars apiece, including shipping—I went for it. Akro corks are out of my bidding life on E-bay and that is why I am collecting Vacor’s now—they really take some sorting for me to be able to afford them as well. I jumped on this auction and was very surprised when they arrived. The patch is 13/16”(that is a very big Patch imho) and the biggest Corkscrew is 1”. They may be dug marbles but they are as close to mint as I require. I would have flipped over these 30 years ago at this price! I know right where they are going---In a box. The one inch marble?—on a pedestal, they are not too common-for me at least. The patches commonly appeared with corks of the same colors in boxes, no problem there. They are still out there---Just keep searching and be patient. (Luck counts to this day—lol) I still get lucky!—once in awhile. For a guy in a small town in Wisconsin—this is just a killer find—just killer. This kind of find keeps me going—searching!! Marble—On!!
  18. Rainbos and Corkscrews--different but alike—you will never find them all—keep trying though!! Marble—On!!
  19. Yep! Hurricane imho--rare to find in this condition---I would trade for this one--just sayin!!--lol. I love this odd stuff--really love it!! Marble--On!!
  20. This is a tuff one--lets lock out Jaybo for sure--the dimples make me say that. This is a 30's type marble imho. Marble--On!!
  21. Good eye Fire--I agree! Marble--On!!
  22. That is a very good observation Tommy--I wonder? Marble--On!!
