Well, according to what I see on this page I would have to agree with you. http://www.gaiser.org/vitro/ Good eye! Marble—On!! -

Try CBD oil---not its cousin.

That will help for sure. Marble--On!!

A very nice looking Vitro! Size always matters--just sayin! Marble--On!!

I could not expect to find one better Carowill.--Top Notch!!

Hold on Brother and always keep one eye opened. Yes I collect McCoy too. My cat Ragnar sends his best—better than I ever got 🦨. I got outbid by a buck on one of those Atmos---painfull for sure. I blew my marble budget for the rest of the year on a box---silly me! Oh well there are always those that you hold dear and are willing to go the distance for. We all miss you here and will welcome your return with open arms and I will hold a willingness to eat the shopping bag for you---good roughage though to keep the shoot flowing. Get you’re A#* healthy. I had to do a self inflicted butt flush because of pain pills—some memories never leave, I am with you on that--forever. I will keep you in my prayers and that is about all that I can do—except for---- Marbling –On!! I expect that you will do the same Chad.

We sure all see marbles in a different light. I see John Wilkes Booth. I will jump on the “Master Sunburst” train while admitting that it sure has some “Sparkler” colors and no Oxblood. I see Master earth tones as well and Master made some killer yellows. In the world of machine made marbles a four or less color Sparkler is certainly a possibility. I want them all to be Akros. All opinions are welcomed. Marble—On!!

Gimme your first thoughts on this group.. us newbies think...

Well, They are all keepers in my realm but the lowest one that I circled is more than likely a”Coral” and I really dig them. It’s a keeper for sure. The blue and red with the nice finish is a nice swirl but I cannot tell you who made it. The light blue with the bacon effect looks like an Alley “bacon” but the base color is wrong, it should be green I believe. I do not think that I would call it an Alley “Superman”---just a nice swirl that got a little too close to some heat source or it may be a dug example. The blue and red swirl in the second set of new images, the one with two marbles, is a Vacor “Volcano”. All opinions are welcomed. Thanks for posting them and Marble—On!! -
Hello Browncat, I agree they are not CAC but you could add Champion to the list of possibilities. Welcome and, Marble—On!!

Nuff said from the Peltheads. Thanks Chad!

I would not have totally believed it until I saw it in hand. Thanks again Leigh! It is just an odd odd thing until you hold it in hand. You just never know! Great post for sure!! Marble--On!!

Here is a non identical twin to the one that I posted in “Oxblood August it Almost Rhymes”. One inch and quite nice. It is just lacking in the Oxblood coverage(oxblood always does what it wants to)—I love it just the same and it will be together with its twin in a box for a long—long time. Funny how these things will stay together over the years just like family. They came with two big cats and two big solids—not related in the least (the solids could be Akro😁). Backfill boxes—On!!

Oxblood August, It kind-of rhymes.

No worry Nate, the Pelt Heads will kick the can on this one. I am not a name/category guy--just an ID guy. Breaking them down into categories is just not my thing. Too many marbles and too much to remember--. Marble--On My Friend!!

I received this marble from Leigh today. I am convinced. I took some images under liquid in my faithful eye cup. It may look out of round but it is under liquid in an oval eye cup so bear with it. 5 twists on both sides------ slightly opalescent white---hardly any external seam—1/64” out of round—it could have dropped as a ¾”. It measures from ¾” to slightly over that. The white reacts under UV as very slightly pink. The damage looks like it came from play so not from a dig imho. I have no ¾’” Akro marbles like this, one 5/8” with five twists that does display closely. Yes it is beat up a bit but it is a keeper—unless of course Chad wants to see it---then it is yours to keep. Your choice brother—eat the popcorn bag or get a free marble—I know what I would do. Shopping bag with butter and salt will keep me happy! Marble—On!!

Well, This is a good reason why collector names confuse me so much. What about this marble makes anyone think of a Polar Bear. The colors are right for the collectors name but I am not so sure that it qualifies as one. I will call it a nice Rainbo. As always, more opionions are needed and welcomed. Marble--On!!

Nice BEN, Grandpa was obviously into it all and I mean all—all over the place. He obviously loved all marbles. Treat those Master Made Marble boxes with great care. They are not a real common thing to find in that size. The Vitro Blackies bag is a great bag too. Keep them coming! Marble—On!! -
Great images Leigh. The one on the left is a Peltier Rainbo. The one one the right got me a bit excited but after working on it a bit the reddish tint is from your background, I thought that it may be oxblood—not. It is more than likely a “White” slag with pollution from the run/machinery included. It may be an Akro. I am figuring that both are around 5/8". Size always matters. Both are pretty cool marbles—no individual “collector” names from me though. Marble—On!!

If those are in glass---well---very cool indeed. Make sure that you let us know. I figured not glass as well. Marble--On and good luck!!
