  1. Ok then, a Ravenswood it is. I will have to start picking out some more "Champions". Thanks all! Marble--On!!
  2. The size on these is a small 5/8"--I should know better than to not post the size. Size matters is one of my favorite quotes. Thanks all!
  3. Four marbles from a rookie at WVS ID. Ravenswood Ric is back on the job this winter so I expect some results from him. Here are my thoughts. Left top Heaton Right top Ravenswood blue Raven Left lower Ravenswood swirl Right lower –well duh??? I cannot call it --yet!! Thanks for all of your input and opinions, I appreciate them all. Marble—On!!
  4. Here is link link to a box on ebay Ric. https://www.ebay.com/itm/314289015600?hash=item492d15cb30:g:7nEAAOSwB0djpKLD&amdata=enc%3AAQAHAAAAkJKH0rayW0JWRUwyxK3H6ODUZWxeLnVfGOGqiL5PCkXfXC8Qq47YWHxMSVfYKBr7dWTLJ5fxXtDTh89O9ekaJljWSNEk1bWY9kOcimFSmjmfn%2F9Yet8peQmeYMxkjc29wNDSB9%2FI07j5Z1MKRx6qgJePLj02uVxhjJc0QTnnni2HGhavwWQksB7MyvXv75%2Fpug%3D%3D|tkp%3ABk9SR6rKgZ6oYQ Check it out. Marble--On!!
  5. Thanks Ric, The brown in the backilight has me wondering. It is more obvious in hand under direct light. Why should I get distracted--lol? As always, I appreciate all input. That is a nice Alley that you posted Ric! One vote for Ravenswood/Alley and I respect it--any others?? Marble--On!!
  6. I appreciate your try at a black backgound--it just does not work. The first one may be a Pelt. The second two are more than likely Pelt Rainbos. The last one???? The black try at backgound does it no justice--maybe an Imperial. Marble--On!!
  7. That is an odd and very nice looking patch type marble. Uggh as Steph would say---- I will lean towards Vitro here with a slight ---- well not so slight--- mention of Akro. Marble--On!!
  8. Hmmmm, I just found this today while doing a walk around an old junk yard. Anyone interested? Dream on😁. Marble--On as well!
  9. I was checking my WVS hoard today for some Ravenswood marbles to ID and as always I got distracted. The first row of two images is backlit.( pretty cool huh?) Ignore the orange reflection on the upper right hand on the final two rows of two. It was too chilly in the basement today so I was out of my lighting realm. This one is 5/8” and I think that it is a nice Champion. As always, when I ID a WVS I need a little help. I appreciate any and all opinions. No UV reaction. Backlight them all!! Marble—On!!
  10. Well, We here have had Williams weather today. I cleaned up the snow by guiding the snow-blower chute away from me and straight up to the 40 mile an hour winds that took it about 50 feet away into nothing. I actually worked up a sweat, too many layers? After a shower, I went to refill my gas can, one layer, and about froze my butt off. The pumps were going so slow that I only got 2.5 gallons in my five gallon can. I used to go ice-fishing in this stuff without a worry—age is setting in. My driveway is cleaner than any road that I was on today—south facing black asphalt rules! My dogs like to snuggle in this weather, just like a heating blanket next to you. I don’t mind a bit🐶.
  11. Yes , I could absorb 4-5 of these into my collection. Very nice!! Marble--On and Wind Chill on as well🥶.
  12. These that I posted are Master Glass “Brushed glass marbles” white on blue. A beautiful thing to hold and look at, great deep blue color, they also made other colors of these and the red one is killer as well. They may look a bit different from yours but they are marbles and anything can happen. Vitro Agate made a dark blue with white, with this big glob of amorphous white opaque stringy glass with a few different colors of transparent based glass—danged if I can remember the name—but they had one. As always, all opinions are welcomed and appreciated---and needed as well. Marble—On!!
  13. Not all Jabos had AV or UV invloved. I am thinking that this one is a "Contact Run Marble". I would love to know which one. @Nantucketdink may know. It is a real nice one. Marble--On!!
  14. Yes Ric, I was there too untill I purchased a box of these. Akro "Tricolored Patch" for sure. They sure do look like they may be a Vitro. Marble--On!!
  15. It is a nice looking marble regardless of the maker. Size matters here. Marble--On!!
  16. My first thought was Vacor and at a peewee size kinda strange for sure. I have not been able to come up with a Vacor name for these. Marble--On!!
  17. I blew up that image of the second in from the right and fixed the image a bit. Is that dark streak red or brown? Marble--On!!
  18. I would sort them all as Master Made Marbles. Ric is right on as well, very similar, these all match nice, I like a matched set of three. I appreciate all opinions. Marble--On!!
  19. This one may be a Pelt but I am thinking MK with this one. A weird one yes, just my instincts here. All opinions are welcomed and appreciated. Marble--On!!
  20. I would take a stab(after I made an offer)--just because I have never seen them before. I like the weird stuff. Marble--On!!
  21. Your tin looks pretty nice right now. Your pouch does not look too bad either. You can find these tins in a variety of conditions. I have bought the faded paint ones back to some nice life using this stuff. It removes no paint, leaves the images alone and puts a shine on it like—well you know. https://www.amazon.com/Liquid-Glass-Polish-Pre-Cleaner-Bottles/dp/B09QY12PK5/ref=sr_1_9?crid=ALWUTXLFDUQ2&keywords=liquid+glass+polish&qid=1671730930&sprefix=liquid+glass+polish%2Caps%2C117&sr=8-9 Take your time and use a microfiber cloth or three. Q-tips help it in the harder areas and a nice soft artists brush is good to have on hand. Gently polish, do not use too much pressure. Start where you will not notice it first in case the recipe for this product has changed. The stuff I have is still in a tin can so you never know. These Akro pouches can be a bugger. They were made with cowhide and buckskin and one that I came across had both. If it is buckskin, I would ask your local drycleaner. Marble—On!!
