  1. Nice images Gladys--I'll jump in and call it a Marble King and wait for any reactions. It could be a fancier than most game marble. I just call them like I see them. Marble--On!!!
  2. Great work Mojo and a great marble as well! Just a question about "Mojo"---my wife has some (lots of) dutch heritage and "mojo pumpkin head" is one of her favorite sayings when refering to our young (older now) ones. Just what is a Mojo? Marble--On!!!
  3. Here are a few WV swirls nestled into a Hazel Atlas “Cloverleaf” Depression Glass sherbet. Hazel-Atlas was a mainstay in West Virginia for many years. Hazel—on!! and Marble—On for sure!!!
  4. I'll bet that that Rooster thinks he is the size of an Ostrich. Nice marbles Gladys, love the brown one for sure. Marble--On!!!
  5. I agree with I'llhave. The top one may be a slag, swirls to the rest of em. Marble--On!!!
  6. I agree with Chad on the CA swirl. These can show up in this color combo very--very close to an Akro Color combo. They key is swirl vs corkscrew and layout. Generally even a bad corkscrew show signs of the intended marble. These CA swirls with this color combination came in different shades but this color combo is very close to the Akros that I have tried to backfill boxes with and have found a few in incompleted boxes----it did take some looking to set them aside. Good call Chad, Marble--On!!!
  7. I love the light box effect Chris, Here is one that deserves attention from your side of the Atlantic. I used a fill-flash with a light box. Marble—On!!!
  8. Lets go crazy!!!! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aXJhDltzYVQ Yes I know this is quite crazy. Peltier made some crazy nice patches. This one has a slight glow to it under UV light but no opalescence ----- so just a plain old Peltier Peerless patch and not an Acme Realer. Several colors of AV. Blue, Green and Copper-ish. Two round marks on either side—you tell me what happened----I just think that it is a patch that wanted to grow up-----or just get CRAZY. Marble—On!!!----and Marble Crazy on as well !!!!!!
  9. Love em Capper is that blue and orange a submarine? Marble--On!!!
  10. I think that it is an "All Red" Fire. Marble--On!!
  11. The blue and yellow are Vitro colors—maybe a misfit Tri-lite, start of a new run etc. I’ll stick with Vitro on this one. Marble—On!!!
  12. It is a Vacor "Serpent". No doubt in my mind. Marble--On!!!
  13. Thanks Chad, I had always thought that it was a "Miller Tiger" which would be a rare one for sure. The AV sends it over the top. I will look up your images in "The Pelt Book".----Great marble and thanks again. I never met Sami (I think😁) but I did get to talk with Gino a few times. The King of Peltheads RIP---great guy that he was, his excitement over marbles was intoxicating. Marble---On!!!
  14. Love the glow!! Marble--On!!
  15. Why do I always pull for the Beavers when they play OSU?--Gotta love a Beaver with Fangs. I may have missed out on something. Having looked at your marble numerous times I just noticed that it may have a transparent base. What is the story on this one? Marble--On!!!
  16. Great marble Akro. I am Steelers fan as well "Wrapped In a Terrible Towel" Good one! Marble--On!!
  17. I cannot get by the first image and would love to see some closer shots of the caramel colored one. A really great score!! Marble--On!!!
  18. I just got done processing my Horseradish crop----I think Great stuff!!---I think
  19. I do not really Know If Akro ever made "true" or intentional Orange slags. There are some that sure look orange though---a really hard find. I have no problem calling the OP an Akro red Slag. Marble--On!!!
  20. Nice images for sure! I would not call this one a Vitro---closer to your home I think. Marble--On!!!
  21. I am a big fan of Vacor “Red Roosters”. Let’s put them next to some Akro Corks that were marketed as “”Cardinal Reds” in the “Cardinal Reds” boxes that we are more familiar with holding “Cardinal Red” Slags. I am of course a Cork Head but these “Roosters” are some very nice ones and if you place them just right, they may fool you. Akro On!! And Vacors are not too shabby either!!
  22. Sorry for this Ron, That Black is obviously dark green according to your images at least. A really great Marble--No Doubt----but---🚫 I would love to see some "True Black" in any marble that you may have. I am still convinced that it does not exist.🙈 Marble--On!!!
  23. I had just turned 13 years old; with hormones running wild and I remember watching the “Ice bowl” with my dad and older brother on a little B&W TV in our “upstairs” bedroom because our main TV took a dive. (Thanks dad, RIP, for getting what you could) We had to constantly move the little “Rabbit ears:”to get a good picture (really bad weather throughout the state that day) ---Tears running down my eyes as the Pack went ahead for good. I may be a “Cork head” but I was a “Cheese Head” long before the name was coined. Show your teams colors/marbles—It is time for some Football!! This is serious stuff in Wisconsin as last night’s game was half Packer fans. You cannot imagine until you visit Green bay. How could I pass on this marble? Memories—On!!! And Marble—on for sure!!! Go Pack!!! And Go Badgers!!!
  24. Thanks Al, Who could ever forget you-----well me I guess. Too many years behind me. Thanks for all that you have ever contributed. I have always enjoyed your post's Marble--On!!!! and collect bags on as well!!!
  25. Hello Brock, This could be a Vacor "Old Fashion" They came in a bunch of different colors based on white. The construction looks like a big ole Vacor for sure. Here is a link that Chad Provided us a while back from "I forget" who provided it for him. They are listed down aways. https://www.billes-en-tete.com/liste_billes.php Marble--On!!!
