  1. I just love this marble. The hit-marks show its use. How many glass marbles did this one destroy? I have seen images of these being made in California, not an easy task regardless of where they were made. Superb example!! A real keeper imho! Marble--On!!
  2. I am not quite there yet, it is getting thin. I wish that my nose and ear hairs did the same🦔.

    Turkey

There were turkeys up around Green Bay chasing folks, dogs, cats, bikers, bicyclists, and cars last year. They took over a whole neighborhood. I think that they may have been reintroduced to a better area after chasing and scaring younger ones on the way to school. I have chased them for years and they would rather run than fly. When they fly, lookout. They crash though tree branches like they were made out of Balsa wood. Tuff birds, these ones. A big reason for the rise in coyotes imho. I fence my dogs, coyotes love dog meat, my cat seems to persevere, he can climb rather nicely.
  4. I like the old ways and a name for a corkscrew, the "older" collectable "machine made" is always welcome to me. There will never be as many names for corks as there are for Pelts and I am OK with that. Corkscrew On and Pelt-names on as well!!

    Turkey

Nice turkey Fire. Chad, I have those things trying to invade all of the time, twice or threes times as destructive as deer in a gardners world. I have chased them plenty of times, they will eat anything that you do not want them to. Pretty birds and nice to see-out in a farmers field is much better than in my garden☣️. Turkey--On!!
  6. Poll Parrot is a new term to me regarding corkscrews, I can roll with it though. All I know is when I have one of these in a group of 100 corks, my eye goes to it. They are a very nice thing to hold and see. I wish that I had ten of them to put into a box. I have not seen very many in this color combo. I love these things. One of the top ten corkscrews imho. Thanks and Marble--on!!
  7. The hit mark in the second image does not look like a Jabo hit mark. In my opinion there would be more whitish glass surounding it in a Jabo. Softer vs harder glass. Newer vs older. Just an observation, it may be a Jabo but my Akro hairs are standing up on this one Marble--On!!
  8. No idea on the maker but it looks like a slag vs a swirl to me. Very few Pelt slags display feathering vs the many that they made. Look into the base amber glass and see if there is any feathering there that does not display as white. This is a more washed out amber that I am used to seeing in Pelt slags. It could be one af many makers though. Marble--On!!
  9. Were you doing some painting today Fire, or are those flakes of AV that I am seeing. Pee wee Pelt is good enough for me name-wise. Killer pee wee Pelt may be a better name. Great marble!! Marble--On!!
  10. This is the best way to display corkscrews imho. Preserve and protect--love it!! Marble--On!!
  11. Well, You just never know do you? I sorted this one as I was cleaning a recent lot from ebay containing a few corkscrews mixed in with a bunch of Cats and Vacors. A very pleasant surprise it was. 9/16 “ and in very nice shape. Sorry about the cat hair, it floats all over the house from my Ragdoll. Marble—On!!
  12. I have to correct the toe-breaker thing. This is just a nice big one--lol. Marble--On!!
  13. Well, the flash sure did not make these look like they do in hand (not much sunlight today). The yellow color steaks/covers the blue color making a wonky grey color. The flash exposed this. I am still convinced that this is what you have. Marble—On!!
  14. Imperial x3. Vacor made some that are similar to this one but the cut-offs are cleaner and the colors float on the surface more. This is another great example of eyelashes on a non-Akro marble. I love the Ghostly white stretch on the third image. A very nice wet looking marble in a toe breaker size. Marble--On!!
  15. Akro and Master had many similar color combos. Look for a one third fill, with seams like this and they are more than likely Master. Marble--On!!
  16. I think that both may be Akro corkscrews. Vacor made Roosters that mimic the first one but they do not go quite as deep, more of a surface thing with them. The Akro red transparent is a beautiful thing to look at. Marble--On!!

Gasp! A very cool name. I did that everytime I walked outside a few days ago, -19 degrees will do that to a guy. Marble--On and stay warm as well!!

I cannot say just what it is but it is a coral colored marble and I just love it. Great marble!! Marble--On!!
  19. Here are what I consider to be two “Lifesaver” corkscrews. I try not to play favorites, they are both very nice.(the one on the right-lol) Marble—On!!
  20. That is an Akro Oxblood patch my friend. Nice coverage on this one! Marble--On!!
  21. That green color shows up in a bunch of Vacor models. I could not pin a name on it though. Nice marble! Marble--On!!
  22. I think that this one may be an Akro Corkscrew that went wrong. This blue and yellow combination often shows that wonky, muddy gray color. This one has a bunch of it. I will post some later today to show what I mean. Yours may be a double ingot, but I cannot realy tell. Marble-On!!
  23. I use theses two lights and have had them for some time. I would suggest head magnifiers over a lupe, my lupe always gets foggy. 24. I love the "Glow"---Great marble!! Marble--On!!
  25. A double turkey is cool in any marble such as the OP. I think that it is a nice WVS of some sort and make. There are Turkeys in Mexico, your second one. These are the collectable marbles of the not too distant future imho. Marble—On!!
