Thanks Alan. Good theory. It is in mangled mint condition anyway. -

I think it could be double ingot. Obviously a Jabo? -

,68 or .70 inch depending on where I measure. Thank you for your interest in my post Alan. -
Both are about 5/8th inch. On the left it looks like an older Jabo classic to me. Maybe more red than orange I suppose. On the right, I am seeing an Akro Agate Corkscrew but it is kind of blurry and undefined as far as the two colors go. They look somewhat blended. What do ya think? Could I have these both right? Thanks so much!

A couple patch shooters. (ID-ed as Akro Agate)

Thanks Fire! Akro it is then. -
These two look in pretty good shape. If I had to guess, I'd say the red and yellow was Akro Agate around 3/4 inches. The blue and yellow I thought might be Master Marble and is also about 3/4 inches in diameter. But the simpler the marble, the dumber I get. I don't think these come from the same company though.

Thanks Akroorka, and you other guys. I just got done looking at a whole lotta Vacors here and there. Hundreds of net bags and nothing came close. A lot of the Vacors look oily, sometimes even rainbow oily, like gas floating on water. This is shiny but not like that. I do like it no matter what it is.

A big perfect mineral sphere Tiger Eye
The Nickel Guy replied to The Nickel Guy's topic in General Marble & Glass Chat
You know, I just did a search for Fiber Optic Marble and found that they make these. Saw one that looked just like mine and was described as such and another like mine of course as rare mineral. Even the ones that look more natural can be man made. The ones with the grain and tight cracks. I saw one broken and inside it looked like there was some kind of metal disc. Well, I have had a big learning day! Thanks LATE EDIT - Not that I don't like it as much as I did at first. It still is an impressive sphere. Still a keeper for me. -

How did you know how big my stocking was? -
Thanks! I think it's the one pee wee of the two I posted up there. Here I turned it and the yellow seems to be the same stripe. This is one cool marble. One of the best in the bunch for sure. I think it is Akro and I bet it's quite scarce. Here it lay in my hand same position. Then the next collage shows it turned. Hard to show the screw but it goes from top to bottom.

Vacors or not Vacor swirls. I got the ID blues.

Thank you kindly! -
Went back to my online auction source. There were 5 lots, I won three. You never know what they will look like but they go cheap. Here are the ones I won. Last night I cleaned them up and sorted them. Got some neat marbles, some brought a tear to my eye as they were damaged but did it have to be those ones that were messed up? Over all I did real good for the money. This is the same auctioneer who has a lot of my antiques consigned. I go down there and pick up my no sales. It's a 90 mile round trip I guess. Yesterday was ugly snow, for and rain. I'll post my sorted images later today. OK so that didn't take long. Here is how they sit right now before they get mixed in with their own kind in my collection. A cool pair of corkscrews. Just about 1/2 inch or smaller. I think this score yielded 17 corks in all. A few unusual ones for sure. Down there at 7 o'clock I see a Peltier feathered slag on brown transparent glass in great shape. Cats eyes were filler marbles but I like them. Shooters and boulders and the overflow. I made another post about these guys and Vacor ID today. There are 5 with hits here in the corner. There were others in worse shape that are in the junk box. That sunburst shooter I think is a Master Marble and it is sad that it has a hit. It is almost OK but it sure was pretty.
