I certainly don't know Steph, although now I feel like should know, being an Akro nut. Lol, I may have jumped the gun earlier on this one.I just didn't recognize the structure, that's why I was so happy thinking it was an Alley. I have very few known (to me) swirl type marbles.

Morning everyone, I'm not very good with swirl marbles, can an one help with a maker on this one?

I know I've shared these all at one point or another, but here is a group shot of some oddball Akros in my opinion Starting at one o'clock position, going clockwise: 1. a purple cork on a wispy translucent base 2. an orange cork on a translucent green base 3. an orange cork on a translucent blue base 4. a deep blue and black cork on an opaque white base 5. an orange and transparent brown cork on a bubbly white translucent base 6. a pink cork on a black base 7. a light cornflower blue moss agate 8. Center: a white, black, and brown cork. I can't tell what the base is on that one

I only use my cell phone, would love to purchase a camera with a good macro. The trick to taking pictures with your cell phone camera is using a dark background, the phone camera is "too smart" in it's White Balance feature. It tries to over compensate if you use a white background, and ends up making the marbles look really dark in my opinion. You also have to figure out a good lighting situation for your phone. I prefer using the flash with a bright background light (specifically a Maglite flashlight for me ) I took these with cell phone camera.

I have one that is quite similar, it jumps back and forth between my Akros and Master The whispy white really looks Master to me.

Hello, sorry for your loss. Lots of knowledgeable and helpful people here, you're in the right place My photos are usually too large as well, I open them in paint and resize them, down to about 50 (both horizontal and vertical), hope that helps.
