  1. Fantastic marbles here! That MK with the deep purple is out of this world! And Dave is that a Vitro Beachball? Vivid!
  2. Thanks guys! Took some more photos this morning. This one has always been a favorite, an Orange cork on a transparent blue base with some inside action
  3. Akro Orange corkscrew on a transparent blue base with some inside action
  4. Good grief, that thin blue and green snake is very difficult to capture. It even killed my phone camera for about five minutes, so only two views of that one.
  5. I'm sucker for Orange spirals, love 'em
  6. Sooo, it looks like blue cork on green worked, and green cork on blue didn't work so well?
  7. A very fat and a very thin black or brown cork on yellow and my one and only Superman
  8. These are two of my favorite shooters, both at 1"
  9. I don't think I've added these to this Akro thread yet
  10. Thanks Dave, I've missed marbling, it was nice to dig them out yesterday. The aventurine in that blue based marble above is wild! And just out of curiosity, on that tub of slags, did you sort them by manufacturer? I think I would be able to pick out the Pelt slags, but that's about it. Maybe a few CAC's if the road and tunnel was really pronounced. This Akro below is kinda beat up, but I found it pretty unusual. it's larger than 15/16" but just shy of a full inch.
  11. What a fantastic piece of marble history and camera history! An 8x10 negative is huge. I love that color cardboard cut out posted above, way cool! I inverted the first negative in Photoshop, and it looks like it is a black and white / newspaper photo as it came out very blue. Then I also converted it to B&W, it looks fantastic. I'm not sure if I should post it or not, would hate to upset people.
  12. And this one is not. It is a Moss Agate corkscrew.
  13. Always a fun topic, is it an Ace or no? I've been told that these are Akro Aces for their orange glow in the base glass:
