I don't know about Mike but I love getting some new facts(Actually he still enjoys learning like most of us..Can't wait to read some facts having to do with Arnold and CAC. And I have never heard of that school Ann mentions. Sounds like a sad place. When I talked to the Author a couple of years back he had been working at it for some time.
Akro like most companies made many game marbles. Usually a major part of their production. Akro made several games and also sold boxes of 60 game marbles for Chinese Checkers.
And I was not accusing anyone of anything. Just giving my opinion on the info I had to that point in time. Glad some more info got posted. And I would never say never when it comes to machinemades. I know for a fact the so called Honey Onyx type came in a box marked Prima Agates. I believe it may have been a term for a variety of marbles through a timeline? Or maybe a general term. What does it appear to be on the paperwork? One type?
I would imagine quite a few general stores with marbles have burnt over the years. I sure would need some very good documentation before believing any glob for sale on Ebay came from the Chicago fire.
