  1. The red and yellow look weak or fuzzy. It may be a Tri-Lite. All we have to go by is the picture. If the picture does not look like the marble in hand, the identification may not be accurate. We id the pictures not the actual marbles. People post six pictures of the same marble and three may look a certain color and the other three will look like a total different color. Any identification by pictures are only as good as the pictures.
  2. I agree. The Tri-Lites are excellent glass bright bold colors and most times very nice clear glass.
  3. 9/16 size may put it with Jabo tank wash ?
  4. #1 Vitro All Red. On of the two most common marbles Vitro produced from late 1930's until 1986. #2 Alley common two color swirl made at St.Marys WV from about 1938 to 1948. #3 Weak Vitro All red #4 Foreign to the US. Glass looks rough #5 Akro #6 Marble King #7 Champion swirl 1980's All at less than $1.00 each.
  5. What size is it ? Is it 3/4 inch ? I would say good chance of 3/4 inch and Jabo. I think that I see some flakes of green aventurine. The more purple than red looking oxblood could also have been from goldstone.
  6. The white/ green swirl looks Alley. Some with this green have a light tan base or a gray base. They run from 5/8 to over one inch size. Most of this combo were made at the St.Marys location. Maybe different or more pictures would show something I am missing for CAC ??
  7. Forty miles is not bad. I don't think I have found a good vintage marble within 40 miles of me for years. unless I dug it. If I found any they were not for sale. That has happened hundreds of times. I get a call to look at or identify marbles. Drive 25-50 miles look at them for a hour. Tell them what they have and what each is worth. Then none for sale. Even worse is, more than once I have been ask to and spent a half hour or hour identifying marbles and their values at a show for someone. I did that for one woman during three different shows at Decatur IL. Then finally I offered her more money than I valued three or four Alleys at. She turned me down. She went three rooms down the hall and sold all of them for less than I offered her. I watched from outside the room. When she left I ask him what he bought and how much ? Sure enough there were the Alleys and for less than I offered her. I might identify marbles and values for her again. But I may make mistakes on every one of them ?
  8. MK Grasshopper has no red, just white base and green with aventurine.
  9. My thoughts were modern marble.

    Unsure

What size is it ? A regulation shooter is 3/4 inch. This looks 7/8 or one inch ? Most likely Jabo.

Pictures are to fuzzy for me to say yea or na for the oxblood.
  13. Anacortes is possible. I have some Akro like this and the cut lines led me just a little more to Akro.
  14. Master or Imperial. Pictures a little dull and reflections. Experiment with the pictures. You will find out what works for your camera or phone. Change backgrounds and lighting and compare.
  15. Vitro patch and a Peltier Rainbo.
  16. What a group that was. As they say, those good ole days. Once in a lifetime. Time well spent.
  17. We believe there were 12 of the Vitro lamps gave away for Christmas to special employees. When you got yours, I think that made ten which I knew where they were.
  18. Akro patch. Lots of colors bleed.
