Steve will not allow us to give away any secrets, our lips and fingers are still,LOL !!!!!!!!!!!

Yes,when those seams statred showing up,i watched close and then here come the helmet style, and in red, white and blue. Not bad for three rookie marble makers left on their own,in the wee hours of the night. After taking care of a major rust problem and getting lined out again. Near the time when the big hand was on 10 and little hand was on 2. At least thats what someone told me. Thanks to everyone who stayed late to help out. Griff CAN tune a marble machine.

Nighty night Griff, get some well deserved sleep and rest.

Thanks Edna and Bob,for posting the info. I think the box says most of it. Friendship and what an OUTSTANDING group, along with the marbles. It has been a busy three days and nights, but a special time for us. Near the end,i believe Griff said it well " Only two things can ever take any of this away from me,and that is Alzheimer's or death. Thank You Guys" . Some of the special marbles now have names, and for some very special people. I HOPE EVERYONE HAS A SAFE TRIP HOME. Again, again, agian, THANK YOU Ron S.

Thanks for posting the info,Griff. -
Thanks to all of you for your thoughts and prayers I was a very lucky person to have the parents that i did. My mother always supported me all my life in any thing that i attempted to do. Even if she didn't agree 100% or always understand, she was always there with encouragement. Each time that i would get discouraged with the marble world and talk about stopping, she would give me that look and tell me NO. She always said people need a challenge,a goal, something to look forward to,work but also playtime, and something that brings joy into life. Tommorow will be another day for most of us,find some joy.

I have MK cats that are 1 1/4 inch and 1 1/8 inch. They were a normal production item for a while.

Where will all this end. When no one in the USA has a job? When no one can buy a home? When no one can buy a new vehicle? Are we getting closer? I have a few old classics Jabo and others,Akro,Vitro,CAC,etc. Does this mean i can no longer give away or sell these without this certification???? What about the old classic cars, where lead was used for body work,Can on one give them away or sell them? How many children have you EVER heard of with lead posioning from marbles????? We gripe about prices,no jobs, competition from foreign countries, but we just keep adding on more cost and regulations to raise the price and benefit the foreign competition. USA freedom? Majority rule? Or miniority rules? Try as hard as we want but we are not going to live forever. That is one thing that is not going to be prevented or outlawed. Maybe we should just outlaw any or all production factories in the USA. Jabo closes for good and what are the employes going to do for income? No workers,no tax received. Sure it's only a few,but where does it end? Someday there has to be a time when enough is enough.

That pic/graphic for the lid is GREAT,NICE !!!!!!! Make sure i am on the list, same number as last time,to start with,LOL. Running the marbles is the fun and shortest time, just ask Edna. The work beings afterwards. Of course, the ones named by or for Triker,i think that i have ZERO. I have not seen a bad, even average, group of any special run throughout 2008 at Jabo. NOT ONE. I am happy and privelaged to have been any part of any 2008 runs. Thank You to all and it involved many. Ron Shepherd

GREAT job and lots of work and time. Thank You Edna !!!!!!! You know i am on the list for boxes. Great insert for inside the lid,Thanks. The weather here has not got much better, down into single numbers this coming week. I have a picture of youself and Weldon wrapped up with only your heads sticking out, near the Jabo furnace and machine during the Last Dance. What a good time, only possible at Jabo, where else ???

HAPPY BIRTHDAY AL. Go ahead and relax while i look for bags,LOL. MANY MORE!!!!!!!!

CONGRATULATIONS DAVE !! As you know MANY MANY Thanks for the several past years. Always a pleasure each and every visit. What a gracious host and generosity. What a ride it has been. A debt that cannot be repaid. Take the time, enjoy it with your family, and whatever you want to do and when, well deserved, and overdue. A TRUE CLASSIC check webster's for classic Ron S. WVRONS -
It is a tough one. I think it is one of the better Cairo Novelty. Most have the C or S swirl and the other side blank, but not all,not the better ones. They will have the swirl all around. Correct you will see some of the same pattern in those four companies, then you go by color, amount of clear or no clear, glass quality, sometimes size helps. Some swirls will never be 100% positive to one single company, but many can be. Just like your tater bugs, the questionable ones, set them aside for a while, and come back later. Many get matched to a company with time and patience. You may not have the marble but you have the picture. When not sure of one,go to the next, there are plenty more. Then come back to it later. Alley would be my second choice. Yes,Jabo is not the only one that has butt crack traits, just more numbers of them. Many Jabos old and newer, especially the older ones have Cairo Novelty traits. Many Jabos have the C & S pattern, many Cairo have the butt crack, many Jabos have the V vitro pattern. The Jabos follow many of the older traits, because of the mix of equipment from the older companies. In hand usually you can tell the difference of old and newer.
