  1. No, the marble was not made in 1966. The anniversary was 100 years 1866 - 1966, as dated.
  2. All these logo marbles are modern. Jabo and Marble King supplied most of the marbles for the decals to be added. I have seen them ship tractor trailer loads of these in a day.
  3. Jabo . There are no logo marbles on any Alley marbles. All the logo marbles are modern, millions and millions of them. Jabo did not put on all of the logo decals. They sold marbles for the logo decals, then later bought the rights to use many of the logo decals. Then Jabo applied and baked the logo decals on the marbles and sold them as singles and in blister packs of different numbers of marbles.
  4. Probably or most likely Jabo marbles. The decals could have been placed on the marbles by other companies or Jabo. I forget the exact year that Jabo started adding the decals and got the ovens to heat bake them on. Jabo paid for rights to use many old cartoon characters, and other logos. Jabo sold many tons of these marbles per year, for a few years before they added decals. I did not keep any list of all the logo marbles Jabo did. It was to many for me to list. Millions were sold single and millions were sold in blister packs of 2-3-4 or 6 different marbles in them.
  5. No way to tell. All modern more made by Jabo, Marble King, etc. than Vitro or any vintage company. Vitro in Parkersburg was finished in 1986. Most of these are after 1986.
  6. Jabo. Jabo made more numbers of classics that glow than investor run marbles that glow. Invest runs were done from 2008 until closing. So They were most 8hr runs , four a year to one a month average. Jabo made classic swirls from 1994 for 24hrs a day, many weeks per year until 2008.
  7. I have several 600 to 800 lumens. Coast and Lenser brands. All are from five to ten years old. I have one Coast rechargeable HX5R, on charge now. I like the light but it doesn't hold enough charge for me. At any show it goes dead without any warning at all after about four hours. It has never lasted one full day while at a show. But I identify a lot of marbles at shows. But on three triple A's, I can do three full days at a show and have some power left. All depends on what you want to spend, what size you want and how much you use it. At shows I will always have a couple different lights in my pockets. I will take five or six to each show. Plus usually a couple different size black lights.
  8. Vacor for me. How many two color MCS do you have ? I guess Multi can mean two but all of mine have more than two colors.
  9. Champion made swirls. Most Champions do not show cut lines. Master made patch marbles. Most Master marbles show cut lines.
  10. 1931 Alley from Sistersville WV. Alley made several different shades of the yellow base with red/orange swirls and flames.
  11. It is a Jabo. It is a swirl. That is the first trait. I have never seen a Peltier Green Rebel swirl. I have not seen many Vitros this size swirl. Large Vitros can and do swirl sometimes. Most all Vitros this size show two cut lines. Jabo has made lots or marbles with translucent brown and red. Jabo has made marbles of about every striping color possible. Jabo has produced lots of marbles with four colors, with five and six colors. I have seen them added. Plus added some 4 & 5 myself. I see no Peltier trait and very little if any Vitro traits. Thanks Cheese. I was not going to dig any out.
  12. Is the plastic bag posted earlier, a Marble King Company bag ? Or a Berry Pink the Marble King bag ? Bags with headers marked Marble King have Alley swirls in them. Box sets marked Marble King Marbles can have Alley marbles or Peltier marbles or Marble King marbles. Why ? Everything marked Marble King may or may not refer to Marble King Company. Berry Pink wanted to be and was known as the Marble King. He was a jobber and packaged different company marbles with his nickname Marble King. Berry pink was also part owner of actual Marble King Company. The Marble King Company bought out Alley at St.Marys WV. They bought everything. So Marble King Company and or Berry Pink also packaged Alley swirls they had bought. The Peltier marbles likely came from Sellers Peltier Jr. who was also part owner of the new Marble King Company.
  13. Jabo but not Joker 1 or Madyia. For sure not CAC.

    B-DAY !!

Happy Birthday and many more !
  15. I am confident that it is Ravenswood Glass. Alley only made a few marbles there for a very few months. They are very seldom seen because of the low numbers. Your description above with all the things you listed fits perfectly. Alley - CAC - Raven Blue - Ear pattern - Tongue - odd cuts. Lucky man to have a Ravenswood Glass Picasso. Ravenswood Glass not Ravenswood Novelty. I have a few Ravenswood glass but not this one. Most Ravenswood Glass marbles, what few there are, get attributed to Alley at Sistersville. Plus he did make a few of the same exact thing at Sistersville as he made at Ravenswood Glass.

    Akro?

Looks like Jabo slight blue base industrial glass. Swirl looks like from Fenton art glass pink cullet. Which also had white streaks in it.
  17. That third one looks Jabo to me. I have never seen a lemonade with blue and orange. If Akro lemonade it should glow. Does it glow under black light ? Maybe my screen, but I do not see any oxblood. Looks like a Jabo jorkscrew to me.
