Alan
How about a (somewhat) backlit photo showing the transparency. Right now I'm leaning more towards European.
Ric
Nice Alley, It looks like white in a colored-trans base, a middlings example of the Calligraphy style I'd say . . .
zaboo
purple and lavender ribbons on a basically clear base. if that helps :-) we were leaning towards alley, but it's always good to get other's thoughts!
Steph
No amber? My eyes processed it as lavender and white in an amber base.
zaboo
it's a weirdo Steph. yeah it looks kinda amber when you're just looking at it. back lit it is pretty clear. it has so many twists and turns in it, I think it just refracks the light oddly. I honestly thought the base an amber too until I uplit. lol
winnie
I'm thinking German,as you describe the base. Its often with German swirls that the base is in fact clear, although it looks like a colored transp- base. Here's one of mine, not so busy as yours, what do you think? winnie

MC Marbles
I see why the Alley call from many. I just see more of a German wire pull action going on. Also the weird base color. Just an opinion.
Steph
Looking at this one underwater might "clear" things up.
zaboo
no base color, clear. lol yeah looks more like rick's and bubba's for patterning.
mmuehlba
well here it is with it just lightened I took out the shadows . Mike
zaboo
hi Mike! I will take some pics ofit uplit when I get a chance... the cloth it's on is a dark charcoal-black, so I left it rather than lighten it because that's how she looks in person. lol but you made it a little easier to see patterning for sure. :-)
