Little Jackie DeShannon!

Shown here with 'Rob' on the old 'My Three Sons' show, putting

a Shakespeare soliloquy to music for a school project.

(Believe it or not, it's almost mind-blowingly good.)

If the name doesn't ring a bell, you may have heard her singing

'Put A Little Love In Your Heart' or 'What The World Needs Now Is Love'.

If you're a little young for those, how about 'Bette Davis Eyes'?

Unless you're a 'fan' you probably never heard Jackie sing that one, even

though she did write it. Here's a tuber link, if you're interested. ( :

I just realized that my 'believe it or not' may have given the wrong impression.

If it had been just Jackie singing, the odds would favor the song being good.

But 'Rob' was singing too! So the surprise is that he's not 'too bad'!

Ha! Guess what? I just found it!

Fast-forward to twenty minutes on the dot. ( :

Didn't know that!

As a relative newcomer to youtube, I was genuinely surprised when I cranked it up earlier to see a dozen or more old black and white MTS's staring me in the face, I assume as a result of watching your video yesterday. The 'coffee house' was great, and I'm looking forward to watching all of them. I sort

of 'remember' many of the color episodes, but the older ones will all be 'new' to me.

Probably going to watch all of them tomorrow, one after another, when I really should be doing the

many important chores and errands I need to do. Thanks a lot! :P

I heard someone on 'public radio' discussing Bowie's career, and she seemed to be making

a big 'rolling her eyes' point about how 'Dancing In The Street' was not one of David's 'best moments'.

It's possible that she may have been referring to an album recording which I've never heard.

Although I can't imagine how the terrific Bowie could mess up a terrific song.

But in spite of generally despising 'music videos', I remember getting a real enjoyable kick out of

seeing Bowie and Jagger dancing and singing together with this one. ( :
