Which would you keep? ( I can smell the cold sweat already. And please exclude any marbles with which you have some sort of personal connection. It's okay for any of the three to be a fantasy marble you don't already own. And the 'exclude marbles with personal connection' line simply meant not to include marbles that were gifts from friends or family. That could lead to various problems. I claim I could still include my S marble since I loved it before it became a gift .... but I still need time to think about the others. Possibly an Akro superman would be in it. Since there has always been a friendly spirit of 'flexibility' here, maybe that's the best way to go. Why don't we all give it our best shot, and then explain why we couldn't do it? The second would be a marble that Rich Stremme penciled me on an old clay. The third would be the first marble that I sprinkled with silver,and named it "Silver Fox",for Bobby Newman. A Vitro Phantom Conqueror that came out of a Tom Sawyer bag that was a premium when purchasing clothes I got when I was 8 years old or so. All value on this is also sentimental. 3. A common early Champion blue/white or green /white swirl I have had since childhood. Totally worthless except it was in my gray corduroy marble bag with red embroidery that said Mike's Marbles made by my mom. The other 150,000 plus marbles are for sale and selling. No. 1 on my keeper list would be the marble my West Virginia friends had Julia Powell paint with Weldon's and my picture on it and our marble tree. I couldn't leave that out. And the rest would be art glass marbles I'm particularly attached to. I hope I never have to make a choice of keeping 3. While I have really nice machine mades, it's the hand mades I'd keep 3 of.
