DINDO
Ive been wondèring about these striped transparents lately. I seem to find the red ones infrequently in the wild and appear to be semi common. What i ascertain from the knowledgable folks writing here . They were machine made around 1920? By SeppenhutteGlasswork. Any more info? heres my latest.i really hope it is 1 ...for the post purpose.

DINDO
Hi.That is a nice 1. Is it opaque? Whats the white line, a seam? I find these older machine made Germans intriguing.
Nantucketdink
I believe it is a Czech bullet mold, but it is bigger than the few I have.
ann
It Is Czech, and I have as many big ones as I do small, I think, but my big ones have transparent bases - got them from Alan B. back in the day. When I figure out how to work my new camera and introduce it to my new laptop (which I`m still not proficient on) I`ll post them.
ann
Also my German machine-made slags, which I traded for with a German onionskin collector (sent him two nice peewee onionskins with mica, and he sent me ALL of his German machine-mades. I was thrilled. Must have been thirty or so, including some red slag ones. Love that guy.)
davesnothere
Reviving this thread. 3/4 it's been ID as german but I'm not convinced as it has a crazy uv reaction like the CAC orange glows
akroorka
Amber, Clear then Green based marbles are my experience with this type of “Germans”. I would call this one red rather than orange based on the images. I have never held one or seen one in person but I think that the ID is right on. As far as UV reaction goes—I am not too sure about these types—nuff said. Nice size, nice condition—just not CAC imho. A very nice find! Nice marble, thanks’ for sharing it. Marble—On!! Glows like a marble king . A shooter I took from a 160s package. See how the outside gets the orange . Not something you ever see on a german . Doesn't matter anyways. My opinion will mean shit anyways

It is just a matter of averaging them out and coming to the very best conclusion that we here at "TheMarbleConnection" can give. Never think that your opinion does not count--never. I look forward to more of your opinions and welcome them all. Marble--On!!
