Chad G.
it looks veneered like a Vitro to me ???? but te second pic looks like one side of a pelt rainbo ??? I'm on the fence on this one. Hopefully a couple more will post and the mystery will be solved !!
Chuck G
William, i will go with Vitro first then possibly a Peltier. Chuck G---
William
I wanted to go with Vitro also based on others of mine that have been ID'd that are similar but wasn't sure. See who else chimes in...
Steph
Same here except I'll pick Pelt as first choice, Vitro second. That bubbly champagne base glass looks so Pelty!
Chad G.
The bubbles were my draw as well Steph, as visible in the window in the second pic, but I'm still lost. "If" only an in hand exam like we all want was possible !! I guess we'll get that when they invent 3-D, touch, smellavision................. Berryb
I'm with Steph, plus I have a couple of Rainbos with that same pinkish color. Thanks Bruce
Ric
That'd be a pretty crazy Pelt, at nearly an inch . . .
William
Of what I have accumulated/collected the past few months, this is one of a few that I am always drawn back to just too look at it...
Ric
It's different. It reminds me of some Santa Clauses I have seen - but the colors are different, of course.
William
Couple more shots of the seam, the other photos don't really show it clearly I didn't think
Chuck G
William, i am thinking like the others now, may have to change my mind and go with pelt then possibly Vitro. As i review the great photos and study it more everyone may be right on Peltier for this example. I will go into my collection and look and see what i find that is close to yours. Discussing examples like this is the (key) for all of us to learn, as we all (including me) keep an open mind to change. A real (wonky) whacked out example. There are so many oddities in the production of marbles, who actually knows what may be floating around, real (head scratchers) for sure. Chad G.
Ah !!! Some more of the waiting game, it does resemble a pelt but the rainbo but the huge size , a few things are just a bit off ??
Ric
With the new pics, I am leaning even further toward Vitro.
Steph
The colors make me think of the Pelt Tootsie Roll. I hadn't seen the size before now, which could really change things up. But I'm not letting that stop me from mentioning the Tootsie Roll before I step back to the sidelines.
