Marbleized
Hi Everyone, Here's another one that I am wondering if it is a Vitro. The "patch" is and brownish red that's spreads out into a "chili paste orange". There's a dark black strand running through the patch. On the opposite side of this patch is a very light mint green color with a hint of yellow, and a thinner black strand running from one seam to the other. Its size is .61". Thanks for your help! Marbleized
Maybe chili paste is a bad description since I think that has tomato paste in it. So, more like tomato paste or even closer to pepperoni grease.
akroorka
Hmmm, Nice big long cut lines on this one. More opinions needed. Marble--On!!
Fire1981
I get Vitro vibes all the way.
bumblebee
Yes looks like a Tri-Lite to me. I once got a jar of all Tri-Lites and a number of them had weaker colors than usual. Even had a couple with very little red.
Fire1981
I was looking at the marble you posted asking if it was an Akro. That was ID as a Vitro. I think this one has the same seams and then includes the brown ribbon that meets at the the shortest distance between the seams.

Is it my imagination or do a lot of vitros have that little strand connecting the seams on the “blander” side of the marble?
Ric
I think it's a fairly common characteristic on a variety of maker's marbles.

After I read about chili, tomato and pepperoni, I immediately read your response, Art....I was seeing "more Onions needed" instead of opinions 🤣🤣🤣
