Check you Pelt Cats Eyes

I recognized these marbles as Heatons for a very long time (had a heck of a time convincing Bill they weren't Peltier) so I was really happy to see the color combination show up in Chuck's dug Heaton stuff. Here's a pic of a dug example he posted elsewhere.

I don't know. I maybe found ten but I knew an area where they were more concentrated and focused on that for a while. They were closer to the surface. I don't think anyone found a large quantity, at least not that I know of. I searched that area until I got enough examples to suit me and then went back to the swirls. The area with these was also full of clearies and other cateyes that look to me like Heatons, and what they call Heaton Sulphides. Whether these are Heaton or Bogard isn't clear to me. I think Heaton is possible based on the fact that they are also found with the wider vanes more like MK cats, which is what Heaton made, but then you also find them in this banana cat style, which somewhat matches the green ones Jack reportedly dumped at the side of the loading dock because he couldn't sell them. But I don't recall finding one single marble that I could say was 100% for certain a Bogard in that area. The large number of industrial clearies found in that area and all closer to the surface might suggest Bogard. Down deeper in the Heaton swirls, there were plenty of similar looking clearies too, so I guess Heaton made plenty of those too. Heaton made a very few patch types as well, as evidenced by the digs and also found in packaging (I have some that match dug examples in Bogard labeled packaging containing apparent Heaton marbles).

In this post on AAM you can see several different examples including this type we're discussing and another variation of the same marble but with orange replacing the mustard yellow. They are even harder to find. https://www.allaboutmarbles.com/viewtopic.php?f=27&t=6761 Check out both pages if you want to see some related paperwork I have pertaining to Bogard and cateyes.
