These are pelts but clarity needed

So these from what little knowledge I have are sunsets because of the white ribbon. Otherwise they'd be clear clowns.

Both have a pretty dash of AV in the yellow ribbon 🥰

Measure .56

To me it's blasphemous to call them sunsets...Sunsets are a dime a dozen, but I've only ever even seen these two in this particular variant....

Found probably close to 15 clowns in the wild over the last three years which leads me to believe these may be pretty special.

So to call them sunset makes my skin crawl. Reason I'm torn is because they are going up for sale and I would really think it more appropriate to list them as sunset/clown variants.

Or at the very least rare rainbo/clown variants?

Thoughts? Much appreciated ! PXL_20231214_001831999.thumb.jpg.bfdb9140b10533a73ef398c51c9a7f67.jpgPXL_20231213_235446795.thumb.jpg.c9e0841717b097c905f25dde673967ec.jpgPXL_20231213_235417760.thumb.jpg.e92f5e67ae30acde09c33d9187605dc6.jpgPXL_20231213_235252465.thumb.jpg.c43ea33c6a6c258090ba756c519c3dca.jpgPXL_20231213_235228556_MP.thumb.jpg.089db7a82c9f2cd7552a4781da27cb96.jpg

I definitely see why foreign would cross your mind for a sec...

The seams don't look foreign to me, and the colors ... 🤷

Here I am asking for advice then arguing the advice I get 🤣

I wouldn't be an Aries if I wasn't difficultPXL_20231214_010727965.thumb.jpg.43153887ef65acf7bda45c378b66002d.jpgPXL_20231214_010646999.thumb.jpg.9acfbc1ebba82820222146565d7c241f.jpg

Uh oh, maybe the "these are pelts" statement was possibly a bit off 😐

I pegged them as pelts and just never questioned it... If it helps they came from a jar of about 350 marbles mostly rainbows, and basic alleys... A hand full of vitro helmets and vitro cats eyes as well

I agree, they are Pelts and I would sort them as such.

I would not say blasphemus--just weak "Sunsets" if they are at all.

Imho these are very nice clear based Rainbo's from a short run--maybe a change over from one type to another.

Marble makers kept the machines running and these things do happen when a changeover occured. How they stayed together??? Who knows.

I would be proud to own them--no name imho.

Nice marbles!

Marble--On!!

IDK I can't make sense of them in photos. A yellow ribbon and white plus red patch on top of this clear while yellow and red patch meet, like at a point? IDK These colors make me want to think of Mexico, or new glass, modern manufacture from somewhere I don't know. I don't know of any Peltier and I've had 100's and unopened bags of Sunset, Champion Jr style  around 30 years where none have construction the way that red looks like a patch laying on it like that. The way the red meets yellow, just weird, strange for a Champion Jr style.

I wonder: "Could there be a Vacor that comes close?" I mean, anything of Vacor with a few little straight stripes in or on any transparent color or clear, colorless?
