I included @shiroaiko here.
As well as many that have dropped out and came back to marble collecting--@steph?

I dropped out for quite awile--I am back for sure-just not as far as I wished I was.

@Fire1981 dropped out for awhile he is back in spades.

Many such as @Al Oregon want to back off but he keeps coming back with his wisdom.

@Chad G. is pushing through pain but he is here for us--always.

We are geting thin on the older side of collecting--but many of us are back and committed.

@Alan is no spring chicken but he gives us his best for sure.

@Nantucketdink is not a youngster either.

I have missed many but you get what I mean--it is supper time and I have to go

@akroorka Thanks for letting me join.😃💕

I've got my boombox when I was in the 5th grade, used it for recording a voice letter to a class mate.

At night on the radio was music like Shine on TV by A-ha, Sade and Stevie Wonder.

I listened to the radio throughout my teenage years.

A Japanese music critic, Yoichi Shibuya, often recommended artists like the Gipsy Kings and Weather Report.

Before my interest shifted more toward jazz, I listened a lot to David Bowie, The Police, and Frank Zappa.

I love the unique beautiful voice of Kate Bush... my brother had lots of her cds.

The songs that I remember growing up to was music my parents listened to and my dad played on his fiddle.

Orange Blossom Special

Alabama

Hank Jr.

Kitty Wells

Waylon Jennings

Willie Nelson

Dolly Parton

Patsy Cline

i used to despise this music growing up but after my dad passed, the music brings me peace and memories.
