That’s a Vacor “Super” Serpent. That’s one that some fall for on Ebay when listed as a Superman. Your’s is a really nuce example if a Serpent 🔥

Yes,
The definition between the colors which are melding would be sharper with a Pelt.
The red has a blackish overtone which no doubt can be found in a Pelt—just more defined in a Pelt--- more common in a Vacor.
I have to admit though—if I found it in a low light situation—like in an antique mall—I would be hard pressed without a flashlight to pass on it.

I’m not seeing vacor either. Colors look pelt to me but the glossiness is throwing me off. Polished maybe?

Stickin W Pelt on this one, a bit obscure but more pelt like to me than Vacor
