It rare today's, but back in the day they were on the bay in the 1 1/4" to 1 5/8". Mainly brown, but there was a couple red if I remember correctly?

There was large red, mostly hand gathered Akro, which also exhibits a 9 pattern like a lot of the early hand gathered slags.

Does have the Akro corkscrew color, but I'm a believer in a red M.F. Christenson and sons hand gathered red slag in the large size.

No MFC reds. They kept meticulous records of their products and red is never mentioned in their inventory of marbles.

Well, you asked for an opinion and you got one from one of the more highly regarded collectors in Chad. None of us are "masters", per say....very, and I mean VERY few collectors have been honored with having been considered a "master"...most of us know some, a large handful might know a bunch, and a select few will know most, and Chad has been doing this longer than most of us here...but there isn't a collector out there that knows everything. Now that would be a true Master IMO....

The op is an Akro IMO....
