  1. White on black or black under white.
  2. what a beauties,and so much,i think you're very lucky.
  3. It's not a perfect match, but this is what i found, the one right under at 4 o"clock reminds me a bit of yours. I'm not sure who made them,Germany or Holland.
  4. I've some swirls with heavily filaments,i"ll look in my photo files,i come back after diner.
  5. Thanks Darla and others, mucho appreciated. As Steph said,Vacor has made a swirl with this colors but it's kind of a simple pattern, for the present i'll keep it with the Amsterdam swirls.
  6. Thanks Steph, that was exactly what i want to know. I was in doubt wether it was hand gathered or made fully automatic, because of the cut off line and not seeing a tail. And i have to say i'm not familiar with this kind of slags.
  7. I don't know why i got no response,is it a silly question or too difficult to answer,if it is,i'll not bother the board anymore with questions. I'm often very uncertain about the origin of the marbles that i find here, are they German--American--Asian or Japanese. IMO living in America makes it much easier to IDed old marbles. From 1920-1950 America hardly imported marbles, cause they made their own marbles, during that time Holland imported marbles from all over the world, can you figure it out? It might be better for me and the board,if i no longer worried about it,and from now on only enjoy my marbles.. About the slag i posted (fond in Holland),i've always thought it was American made by Akro, then i read in the MFC thread that Akro made messed up 9 and i was wondering if my slag was a messed up 9 (IMO it is). I have some other red transparant Akro slags from America and they don't have nines at all, they are really messed up,they look almost like swirls to me.
  8. Oh yeah, change your attitude, hope all is well with you LOL,with your DAS marbles it's awfully good!!
  9. Thats because they don't have one uniform pattern, they are all a bit different from each other. Here are some with the thin layer of white.
  10. It seems i'm inspired by all the red slags lately. This one is 7/8,i've found it in HollandDo you think it's Akro and do you think handgathered? I don't think it's German, although Germany has made red transparant slags but they have 2 seams, this one has a cut off.
  11. WOW,so much and all of the same color,i can imagine you think new Marble King. They remind me of Japanese marbles, they're old,i find them often together with the Japanese transitionals and the fig8 marbles, they have the same color and the same sort of glass. for comparison
  12. I don't see Peltier,could it be Akro??
  13. The green transitional,i don't think that there are 2 cut offs,i think it's a manufacterer fault, sort off cold roll,it sometimes happens,i've seen it with my transitionals. here's an example. I've a few transitionals PeeWees.
  14. the first game you have to put the marbles in the 4 corners, without touching them
  15. Bottom right are numbers, if you lift his left arm,the marble goes down along the metal track and falls into one of the number. picture is not mine
  16. They're lovely,i have had a lot of old buttons but sold them, there are many button collecters here.
