    My first impression is Japanese. I think Japan has made many different patches,I've posted some Japanese patches in the thread "show us your Asian patches". It's time for me to study them a little more. I think yours could be in the Reg'ler Fellers box

    Thanks,it's in the foreign pile. I doubted because it does not look like any other foreign marble I know.

    The dark green base looks different from my other green based Pelts. I found it here,so I doubt.It's normal size..

    I see that differently. For me there is no difference in the pattern between opaque or transparant flame swirls. I put my transp- flame swirls in the flame category. Jjay's marble is not a real flame,with only 3 flame tips.

    For me it's mostly experience,and to be honest a bit of guessing. The colors of 4 and 6 and maybe 5 are clear Alley. Because of the narrow and thight color stripes of 2 and 7,I'm thinking Alley aswell. For 1 I would really guess Champion. For the others I'm lost.

    No light shines through. This was the whole sale from Bulgaria,most are 5/8. I don't know what I paid but it was not much. I find it a bit strange that there is a clearie among them,with a pontil.
