  5. Hansel,i don't think i was reading to much in this subject,it was the transparant orange swirl that struck me,i think i've never seen it before and was curious about it,i think it's a beautiful marble. I hope the tape was strong enough LOL.
  6. Ron,i always enjoy your "stories"proved or not,it's your experience, and i think it's nice when you want to share it with us,thanks.
  7. If i understand correctly, there are no bloodies in the world's best bloodies box (post 432),but what kind of marble type is it,does it has a name, they look like transparant swirls? Does anyone have a close-up pic- of it?
  8. Sweet,it strikes me that your marble boxes look so beautiful, unplayed with, almost like new.
  9. Ralf Greiner-Adam contemporary marbles from Lauscha http://www.glas-lauscha.de/frame.htm Murmelland, are also making contemporary marbles http://www.murmelland.de/
  10. Nice marble, indeed a bit strange, does it have a cut off or a seam, and that other marble from Cees is there a cut off or seam? I was this weekend also in Utrecht but missed it LOL. I bought some transitionals, but in general there are few marbles for sale there.
  11. Thanks Steph, thats a good idea to post it at Glass addiction,if they have never seen such a marble then it's probably not made in America.........
  12. It's not metallic, think it's caused by the lighting, the size is 7/8. The colored stripes are a bit translucent.
  13. What Ann said, some look a bit sparklerish. You can still buy those bags so now and than on Ebay Germany.
  14. I found this pic-,but there are also other Euro sparkler type's.
  15. I don't know, but they look more like cat's eyes to me. I'll look in my photo files for what i think are Euro sparklers.
  16. Thanks for your thoughts, I've thought of an old polished handmade, but what ever it is,new or old it remains strange to find it in a $2 container with new marbles. Here's a better pic- of the surface, actually it's christal clear,i don't know what happen to the first pictures. I found the name of David Salazar,he has made Latticinio's aswell.
  17. I quess nobody knows who makes these day's latticinio's. I googled a bit and saw that several American craftman have made contemporary latticinio's. it remains strange that i found it here between new marbles, well strange things happen.
  18. Looks as if it was made yesterday, has no pontils,it is smooth all the way and it's not lively. Found it here among new marbles,Vacor's etc,so i can't imagine that it's American made. I've looked on the net for German contemporary's but found nothing that looked like this marble,it's a bit of a pussle for me,any ideas?
  19. Hi Steph,we had no winter,no snow no frost, really nice weather and the spring feels almost like summer,it's incredible.
  20. Some sparkling wirepull's This pic- is taken outside with sunlight. this one is taken inside with natural light.
