Blue Oxbloods usually have the blue and oxblood separate but since they aren't showing any oxblood in the photo I'm thinking it's not one of those. I'm thinking that last one may have oxblood under the blue. I call them "Bluebloods" - it's usually pretty hard to see the oxblood without a really strong light but it is an interesting type of Akro marble.

Welcome to the Marble Connection. The marble you are showing is likely Asian. They are frequently referred to as Imperial types. I think they were made as early as the 1960s.

To be specific, I'd call it an art glass marble, as opposed to a toy glass marble made for play.

A nice corkscrew but for a good Popeye I would hope to see more clear and wispier white. It might be a sort of "tweener" though.

I'm sure you've seen the pattern, Rick. Here is an example (Edna's marble @sissydear). I think this was from the D.A.S. True North Run. I probably have a Pelt or two with the trait but this was easier to find. 🙂

This red, white and blue is 3/4". Jackson's Marbles this large are rare.

The first is a Prizename and the last is a two-color Spiral (Corkscrew). I never heard of a "Buttermilk" Akro. That name is usually associated with a particular type of Vitro.

Akro may have marketed it as an Ace - nice marble.

I think RAR nailed it. And yes, I question the green one too. It looks like it has one vane that is too large and too thin for a Peltier Banana- the glass looks off to me too.

It's beautiful, Bill. I could look at that all day. I'll bet your dog loves the weather - looks like a furry beast. 🙂 We're expecting our first hard freeze this weekend here in west-central Indiana, and I'm looking forward to it!

That is a Moss Agate on the left but it's hard to tell if it's Akro or Master from these views. The other two are Alley Agates.

That's a good looking display, Art. And I agree with your assessment of this person's box-making skills too - a wide selection that appear to be well done for the most part.
