    ?????????

I am leaning Akro, unless there is any hint of translucence - then I'd go Vitro.

    MK Cat ?

Based on the glass and the really "scooped" seam in the second photo, I'd say foreign.

    WVS

I agree, but if I had to guess I'd say Alley.
  4. These are really outstanding marbles - the complexity is amazing. About how big are they?
  5. The first and second are Alleys - the first is very nice, and I am pretty sure the third is Alley too.

    Blue Zebra ?

    Nice mib, Tommy!
  7. Cool, Art. I'm thinking inserts like that are pretty unusual in a #230 box - but then, the format of the one with the girl on it is less common too - maybe the only inserts that were reinforced with metal were in that particular box?

    Pee Wee

Maybe a very odd dug Pelt? Otherwise, I'm not really seeing it.
  9. Very nice, Art! The pouch reminds me of the "V" for victory pouch - does it fit in the insert, which doesn't look like it had marbles in it? Do you know what box/tin the insert is from? The size seems less common to me.

    Red Slag

I'd say there's a fair chance it is a Cerise but what do I know?

    Vacor ?

    Pretty typical for Scott . . .
  12. Random swirls . . . Alley Sistersville on the outside and CAC in the middle.
  13. I don't have many contemporary marbles either but here's a 1 1/3" Scott Patrick . . .
  14. I think it's a newer marble, perhaps a JABO swirl, not a corkscrew.

    Pee Wee

Is it an honest peewee . . . 1/2" or less? It seems like it should ring a bell but it doesn't, at least at the moment. Colors remind me of Cairo but I'll need to think on it a while . . .
  16. My guess is an Alley from Sistersville.

    Ravenwood

It doesn't look Ravenswood to me - I'm thinking Heaton too.

    Vacor ?

Looks like it might be one of Scott Patrick's to me.
  19. Art, That is a killer marble, but I would call it a Blueblood, a Blue Oxblood is a different marble, AFAIK.
