  1. Hit the "Edit Profile" button upper right on your profile screen.
  2. The Google Play Store (Android) seems to have a good selection.
  3. I'm on the fence, but given the base glass, size and seams, I'm leaning more toward Akro.
  4. I have never seen them in original packaging either, and I agree, they do seem to be their own kind of animal. I've only seen them with a clear or green transparent base, but I'm thinking a trans-blue based one would be pretty cool. I'll ask you a question I have asked many others: I recall someone, somewhere, referring to a Green Sunset, but I couldn't tell you what they look like. Have you heard of such a mib? Could you describe them, or better yet, show me a pic of one?
  5. Yes, thanks for the post. I remember Deanne well and I always enjoyed running into her at shows. She was very friendly and always fun to be around - my sincerest condolences to her family and all who loved her.
  6. Thanks for the link - kinda neat. It looks like a set of tools that allows people to build their own marble run. But I would have to spend a lot more time researching to figure out how to use the tools to assemble a run myself. I wonder if you could find a stand-alone run that someone has already been built using these tools. Here is a site where you can assemble your own run using graphical tools.
  7. I have always found the naming of these to be confusing. I have seen them referred to as Vitro Exotics, Exotic Conquerors and Fancy Tiger Eyes. I think the Exotic Conqueror name for these is a little misleading, since I think they were produced later than Conquerors and I don't think they have ever been seen in Conqueror packaging. To me, Fancy Tiger Eye is the better name, since I think they have been seen in Tiger Eye packaging. Can anyone explain to me the relationship of these marbles to Conquerors and Tiger Eyes?
  8. A nice starter collection and an even better gesture - reverse score!
  9. The first might be referred to as an Exotic, otherwise, a fancy Tiger Eye. The blue based one is an Alley from St. Mary's and the third is a Peltier. Sometimes the base on those can show a little bluish cyan color (cyan + yellow = green).
  10. Maybe the seller offers combined shipping and they're getting 10 marbles for $14.25?
  11. Certainly no apology necessary, Mary, it takes a little practice. I just wanted to draw your attention to the issue.
  12. Welcome here, Mary. You'll want to avoid reflections as much as possible, because sometimes it's hard to tell whether you're looking at a pattern in the marble or a reflection of the environment on the marble. When I try to mentally remove the reflections from your pics, I think you might have a hand-gathered brick (oxblood) marble here.
  13. Okay, last guess . . . a spiral?
  14. Maybe a Prize Name, Onyx or Special?
  15. He'll say, "I sell marbles, not corkscrews."
  16. Does that mean you've seen one, and I have something else to hunt for?
  17. I agree - unglazed, I think.

    Peltier?

I have two - both about the same size.

    Peltier?

Thanks, Rick, mine is about shooter size too.
