  1. The bag is in remarkable condition - great find!
  2. That's a nice Rainbo, William. Here is another Pelt, an odd cross-through cat's eye? 😄
  3. Great photos, Chuck. Here are a few more Heatons. Another with AV too.
  4. It's got the colors! Sort of reminds me of a Chuck Pound, do you know who made it?
  5. I think they are JABO Classics with no oxblood.
  6. It's a sweet box, Bill, but you grabbed the wrong mib pic - you're showing us Vitros. Let's see that killer assortment of Masters!
  7. Nice group of big ones! And I am with you, there are few things that I enjoy more than sorting marbles!
  8. It's tough to capture in a photo . . . If you don't look really closely, it can look like a very dark blue/black in hand (left).
  9. You're doing good! In general you'll have better luck with the mibs on a non-reflective surface.
  10. Jumpin' jimminy man, now THAT's a marble! Rare as hen's teeth - thanks for sharing!
  11. I was really thinking only about specifically named JABO Classic marbles, like Hot Tamale, Ghost, Tie-Dye, Sweet Potato Pie, etc. I might be wrong, but I don't think there are that many specifically-named JABO Classics. It's JAY-BOW as in BlueJAY and RainBOW. Classics are the marbles that JABO manufactured for play from about 1992-2007 and, yes, many of the larger ones had little white hit marks.
  12. That's crazy cool! Looks like a piece of oven brick to me. Here's a "Whispy" Cat.
  13. Not sure, WIlliam . . . It's giving me an Akro/Vitro vibe.
  14. I don't collect contemporaries but I have a few. These 1" marbles are unsigned - my guess is Jody Fine made them, but if someone else has a better idea I'd like to hear about it.
  15. Not many of the JABO Classics or specific Contract Run marbles have names, as far as I know. It might be fun trying to assemble a list of the named examples though.
  16. I'd like to have a nice set of single vane cat's eyes but they have proven elusive.
  17. Check Atterbury Glass on Ebay, I think there are a few of them.
  18. I am thinking it's a pickle/olive (relish) boat (tray) and not an ashtray - the little cut-outs may have cradled a little serving fork or spoon. Atterbury Glass, maybe.
  19. I'd guess a single-seam CAC outlier - some might call it a diaper fold, although I haven't heard that term for years.
