  1. @Jeff54 The red on Melissa's Bengal doesn't look anything like the yellow/orange on the Tiger she showed, at least to me - way more red. IMO, her marble looks more like a Wasp/Bee hybrid. Or do the names just not make sense? And it doesn't look "blended" to me at all. What am I getting wrong? And thanks for helping to clear up the "Tiger" for me!
  2. I really thought the orange one on the left was a Tiger, although I could see an off-color Wasp on the right. Anyone have a MK Tiger pic? The ones I see on Google look like mine, as far as I can tell.
  3. It's hard to tell, if it's all veneered on transparent it would be a Type I, but it doesn't really look that way to me, and it doesn't fit the definition for Type II - IV either. IMO. It might just be a patch and ribbon. But it is a Vitro, no doubt.
  4. A 15/16" Neon Conqueror left and a related (but not Neon) Vitro on the right . . .
  5. Just FYI, I don't think I've ever seen a 3/4" Neon either. I think they are usually 7/8"-15/16", although I have seen a (very) few 5/8" too.
  6. I am interested to hear what folks might call these . . . @Jeff54
  7. Vitro veneered colors (or white) on both transparent and opaque glass.

    Mooo?

Thanks, Jeff. After I thought about it, I was questioning myself about an MK "Chocolate Cow". . . I'll have to run a "Brown Wasp" by you to see what you think . . .
  9. Thanks for posting this after your edit - most people already think I'm crazy, I don't need them to think I'm blind too. lol Your marble appears to be a Vitro Tiger Eye or relative, depending on whether the white and color is veneered on clear or not.
  10. Bright (neon) colors distinguish the Vitro Neons and they usually have very little (if any) white. I don't think I am seeing one here. This is one of Ron's, since I couldn't easily find mine. 🙂
  11. Good call, Brett - I see Master Sunburst too.
  12. This marble is very very hard to find . . . since I can't see it. 😁
  13. If the color is veneered on transparent base glass I think you have a very nice Vitro Conqueror.
  14. Dave McCullough's Black and Gold Experiment, 07/2010.
  15. As far as i know, As far as I know, American Agates are pretty much opaque marbles - maybe a little translucence, but I think it would be very unusual to see one with this much transparency. I think the color is off too - AAs are more red.
  16. The light is coming from behind the marble so there is a shadow over the front and that makes it hard to see much detail. But from what I can see, I am leaning JABO over Vitro.
  17. Pretty cool idea, Joep - the octopus is great.

    Mooo?

I agree with Jeff. I'm not sure there is a Marble King Chocolate Cow - I usually associate that name with Peltier.
  19. I like this marble and I think it's Akro too - good call.
  20. I agree that this slag is probably Akro.
  21. I think the base is about right but Juggernauts are NLRs and I think yours is a later Rainbo.
  22. You're right, they are not slags, and I think you're probably right about them being Champions too. 🙂
