got this yest at the canton show...its a st marys hybrid 1 inch cateye...it looks like 4 slices of watermelon..its really hard to get a good pic...

something came up and i couldnt come up today....ill be there fri....

get ya one of them duck decoys...that would quack me up...

this weather is a freak occurance...maybe its a little chilly but not this much snow...i cant really remember the last time there was even snow on the ground...movin this show wouldnt make good sense....im going later today...prob leavin bout 9am or so....

saints dont match up in the secondary...manning has a big game and colts roll....only hope for the saints is to get to manning early....could be over in the first half...saints win if they get over 6 sacks and 5 turnovers....colts 43-10

if they were ballast i really dont think they was poured in...lots of stuff used as ballast was in containers...water is used in many modern ships.....just pumped in and around...marbles makes perfect sense...the maker had to pay a shipping charge...it wasnt free.....a ship with no ballast is hard to manuaver...so they had some kinda stuff in there....

if its master you should be able to see the pinch to a point cutoff....it may be hard to see but it might be there especially with all the stuff goin on....

if you mean ball bearings types it could mean a bunch of different materials to attain the hardness needed for the steel for the application...the only metal types i considered marbles was the folded types that are hollow...the others was tossed out like a democrat at a republican convention...

right on scoop!!..buyin marbles as an investment or with dollar signs in your eyes will surely put a bad taste in your mouth...i still like goin thru them boxes of dollar mibs and cruisin the antique stores and fleas...

i never thought of collectin super balls david.....its kewl though.....i can remember when they was the just out and was very kewl to have one...they would go a long ways from a baseball bat.... mantle didnt have nothin on me...lolol....

those are newer.....the base glows on them....they came out bout the same time as those four color cateyes...just recently ive seen some on ebay with that name....i dont know who started that but theres a guy that makes up those names...he sells alot on ebay..........those mibs are neat but theyre newer...

nope its just plain robin....the brownish stripes is supossed to be the birds breast.....i think the blue on the marble lookin like the blue on a robins egg is what cornfused ....

some sellers on ebay...i can think of a couple who ,,,who try to label all their marbles with some sort of name...its clear they dont know squat and theyre just makin up stuff...theres one guy who calls robins...robins eggs....theres another guy who claims to have bought the alley building....ive never seen a serious collector call a marble a berry pink citrus....the pelt machine there at mk today is used to make the gems...i dont know what it was used for in the past but i know ive dug lotsa banana lookin cateyes...but alas the marble gets its form from the tank set up not the machine they just make em round...

its a rubber ball...lolol...oh well it was fun waitin on it...the other one was a caged cateye horseshoe type....
