  1. No boulder to go with it but that would be great to find one. The transparency is rather difficult to see unless you really study it and the light mint green as well so I am not surprised it did not catch your eye right off. I think I remember seeing some closer to yours in the 11/16 range although I do not yet have one. It would make a good pair to yours at that size.
  2. Hi Bob, I am here. No, mine is 5/8 or a little more. It might be a slightly different type but I can't be sure without a side by side in the same shot. The blue in mine, while deep colbalt, is transparent and the rest is a light mint green and a little white. Is yours as well? I got lucky with this one with the lutz, none of it burt out, it all sparkles but is tricky to photograph well due to angle of view compared to light. That is one of the bonuses to shooting flash like Dani does. The two angles are nearly the same.
  3. No worries Aleece, they are certainly a nice marble. Winnie, yes, that on is covered in Aventurine. I was lucky enough to find that one in the wild. =}
  4. Uh oh. lol I thought it was. I could not remember all you told me when I got it and should have written it down. Please email me the info if you would be so kind. =}
  5. Thanks guys. Aleece, the three burnt sparklers are the middle three in the center of the first row. They were dug from the Akro site in the early to mid 2000's and found about 10ft down. The one to the right is a little different from the others and I believe not nearly as many were found. It has a base like a silver oxblood where the others or a transparent opal base. They were all found in the same hole.
  6. I have added a couple Burnt sparklers to the group aside the one I had and took a new photo. Looking at the image I realized how diverse my Sparkler collection is becoming. Thought I would share.
  7. Yes Bob, you got it. I don't remember where I posted it....maybe in eye candy other than marbles. Thanks again.
  8. Yes Bob, that was shot with the 400, thanks. I think you have seen the other one. White hearts instead of red?
  9. LOL maybe a couple,.....I am trying to grow that section of my coollection. =}
  10. Good luck Steph, I hope you find them and thank you for trying.The update to that thread that was said to happen at some point would be nice as well. Hint hint guys. =}
  11. Sorry Galen, I cringe for you every time I go to post it. =} I am going to have to grab a pen and paper the next time I ask you the story behind where you got it and from whom. I know I have asked since I first got it but was remiss in writing it down.
  12. Great stuff guys! Lovin all of them!
  13. Boy, I am going to have to find me an example like Mon & Dani's to go with my Silver. Those a sharp.
  14. Yes, I do. This is a burnt silver oxblood sparkler type as referred to above.
  15. I really should have some of those then, to go with my burnt sparkler. =}
  16. That was a good show for you, Galen. Absolutely spectacular.
  17. I am in agreement with Steph, and am one whom would not include the word corkscrew unless both ends ended properly. The ones that blow out into a swirl pattern would not be a corkscrew. Nice Visi-pak. =]
  18. It is a nice Popeye, but not so much special unless an individual prefers this particular type. I use type loosely here. I have a few like this. There is a wide range of fullness to the point of being so full that there is not enough clear for some to consider them a popeye at all.
